I was serious disappointed with my new handbag. It looked great, but absolutely stank of glue/chemicals. I hung it in my lounge for a couple of days in the hope that the smell would go, but it stunk my whole house out and my family all complained about the fumes. Sadly, I will never buy from this company again as a result.

Bought a leather weekender bag. It was NOTHING like the photo (same bag, different colour). I understand differences in colour due to screens and whatever but that was 100% not the same bag. I assume the photo had been heavily edited. Absolutely gutted as I'd had that in my basket for months. Quality of the bag seemed OK but I didn't fully inspect it so can't really comment. Gave 2 stars because the refund was processed was very fast.

Quality of the purse was ok but the zip was really rubbish. I’d didn’t zip well at all and was really stiff on the corner part so it had to be returned!

The sizes of their jackets don’t seem to bear any resemblance to real life, about two or three sizes smaller.

The belt is good quality and I like it, but it's just a shame that it hasn't got a loop for the loose end part. I don't understand why. I wanted to wear it with a dress which I can't now. So I am very disappointed about that.

Bought as a present and have not given them yet so scored low due to the disappointment of the slippers being made in China, with all the characteristics on the website that the slippers were made in the UK, quite misleading. I also thought that the slippers were returns as the fur inside was quite flattened down with the card and paper supports just rammed back in dis-forming the uppers.

Bought the Sophia Wrap front dress. I loved the style but manufacture was not the quality that I have previously had from Lakeland clothing. There were split seams in various areas that I had to repair. I had to buy the thread but as I say I loved the style & fabric. Does not say where manufactured. Not happy that a week after I purchased it is now half price!!

Bought new Lakeland leather jacket from Next. The quality of the leather is good, but some patches lost colour, stitches are getting undone and the press studs are very poor quality. I got in touch with the company to get it repaired under their guarantee. I will see how it will works out and update my view.

Terrible experience from start to finish. Ordered for delivery to store/collect in store. Store was showing 1 in stock so distribution centre didn't send another to them. They did not have the 1, not uncommon in retail. Store ordered another from the distribution centre. Meantime I am getting NO email updates or phone calls whatsoever. Online CS tell me it's in, (it wasn't) eventually just drove to the store and luckily it had come in that morning. Store wasn't open at advertised time, tried door, locked, staff member looked up at me and ignored me. Came back twenty minutes later to be told the exact person named on the order (my wife) must collect. Said wife was standing next to me but being Chinese the staff member clearly didn't think her name was as stated on the order. Embarrassing all round.

I was disappointed in the 2quality of the 2 sweaters I ordered. I returned them along with the scarf which was much bulkier than it looked online.

I ordered a pair of sheepskin-lined boot slippers in the sale. I was desperate for them to arrive as I had chilblains on my feet due to the cold weather. They arrived within a few days, however, they were not full boot slippers, they were another style. I was so disappointed.

CAME WERE TO BIG SO I TRIED TO PUT THE FUR DOWN MORE AND THEY WERE NOT MADE RIGHT THEY WERE POORLY MADE FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD THIS WITH YOU HAD THING FOR YEARS FROM LAKELAND THET WERE ELASTICATED WRIST SO WHEN I PULLED THE FUR DOWN SO THEY WOULD FIT BETTER ONE WOULD GO DOWN AND THE OTHER THE ELASTICATED WAS SHORTER SO DO NOT LOOK RIGHT WENT ON THE TRAIN TO LIVERPOOL AND IT WAS CLOSED DOWN I DONT NO WHO IS MAKING YOUR SHEEP SKIN GLOVES PUT THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS THANK YOU KIND REGARDS JEAN

Ordered slippers as Christmas presents but they did not fit so returned although quick to refund had to pay £15 to return,did not realise had to pay to return items .

At first I thought the slippers were great but after a couple of weeks the stitching started to come undone. I sent some photos and they asked for more, after which they made me feel that I was lying by saying they had to be returned "to be investigated". As they had not offered to replace them and it being freezing I asked what other options they could offer, which was a paltry 10% off which I felt I had to accept. They did it quickly but I then had to ask exactly how much had been refunded as they had not sent an invoice for the amount. All the communication was somewhat terse and brusque, not worth the effort. Will not buy from them again.

I haven't received my order of the 5th December yet but that wasn't Lakeland Leather it was DPD who have lost my parcel. This is the second parcel DPD have failed to deliver. I suggest that retailers no longer use this courier service as they don't DELIVER! Lakeland have kindly offered to replace so fingers crossed as this is a Christmas present!
