“Nice backpack but far too big .”

“Looked like a reasonably good quality jacket but I couldn’t tell because it was at least two sizes too small. I ordered my usual size 16. It was much smaller than any size 16 jackets in my wardrobe and a larger size would be big on shoulders. I particularly searched reviews to check sizing and can’t remember any advice on sizing up. Expensive to return ‘signed for’ as I don’t think it was my fault.”

“It was the first time I have ordered with Lakeland and was let down by the delivery courier. The customer service at Lakeland did everything they could to support but my delivery did not arrive as advised and was rescheduled by the courier for no given reason and he items werefor a special event. The event took place with no gifts. Seriously look at choosing different couriers.”

“I bought a brown ratchet belt via Goulds in Dorchester nearly 2yrs ago and was very impressed with the neat way it worked and it's high quality. I went back to Goulds to buy a black version of the same belt, but they no longer had any stock so I went direct to Lakeland leather and bought one for a wedding next week. It felt different, the mechanism wasn't as smooth and the buckle when put along side my brown version showed it had changed. It is lighter and cheaper than the previous version. I am disappointed in the reduced quality. I would return it for a refund if I didn't need it for the wedding”

“Hi. I am pleased with the size and style of the wallet. Unfortunately the colour is totally different upon arrival to that shown on your website. I really wanted and was expecting a bright pink, to match my handbag etc.”

“The jacket I ordered online was too small, I had tried the size smaller (44) in my local shop 2 days before and decided I needed a 46 . I took the postal one back to my local shop as it felt smaller than the 44 I had tried on only a couple days earlier. The shop is about 45mins drive away, there i found another 46 sized one on their rack which fitted much better. I swapped my too small 46 for correct sized 46 and went home. I was given some cleaning solution and spray protector for the inconvenience of the 1.5hr round trip. I like the jacket, haven’t worn it yet other than to try it on.”

“The product was really nice but too big. Unfortunately, to return using tracking as suggested was£8.00 therefore, I will not be buying from Lakeland again.”

“I unfortunately had to ask for a total refund because the delivery company were unable to deliver the parcel to my door.. Lakeland customer service handled my complaint very well and were most obliging.”

“I thought that there was a good choice of handbags and certainly the leather was lovely and soft on the one that I purchased. Very quick delivery BUT the packaging was, in my opinion, poor. The outer bag was ripped and the inner cardboard. Only luck that it didn't impact on the bag itself leaving it damaged. This bag, £60, should have been boxed. Certainly would have given more stars if this had been the case.”

“I couldn’t get my actual size 12 anywhere so I’ve settled for the 14 as I like the style with the hood and it will do with a thick jumper underneath -I like the colour but the quality is nothing like what it used to be your standards have fallen and I would not have paid the full price for this jacket I think it will be my last Lakeland leather. Disappointing.”

“I am very pleased with the leather holdall I bought, but am very disappointed that one of the zip tags had come off within 7 days. If this comment is picked up and this issue rectified swiftly then I'd happily rate 5 stars.”

“I have a jacket ordered direct from you which arrived quickly and is great have a jacket ordered via Friend of Joules - which didn’t arrive for 2 weeks (I asked to cancel it but it has now arrived and you are declining to pay for my return postage) So not entirely happy with your customer service.”
