Whilst size and shape are great, the silver fastener at the front is tarnished, and the strap is much too short to wear over the shoulder (putting your head through). I will be returning the product.

The coat was good quality for the price but the sizing was way out.The 14 was a small 10 The bags were super...no complaints.I will shop with you again.

Bought a leather hold-all 17 months ago (receipt shows Aug 2015) and only used it three or four times. The lining has split away from two of the interior zip pockets. Apparently I can have it 'stitched' for £15 and drive an 80 mile round trip for this to be done (no Lakelandleather near me) or post it for about £5. Paid over £159 for this bag and reluctant to spend anymore on it. Would have thought as a gesture of goodwill this could have been done free. Not very impressed with quality of a relatively new and expensive item.

took delivery today of an`oatgrain sheepskin earmuffs` of the same, if not slightly better quality, in a nice see-through cylindrical presentation box, from ``Simons Leather`` for the all in price of £16.99. Bought your one for my wife, apparently reduced from £39.99 to £29.99, so got this `cheaper` one, for my sons girlfriend, from Simons and it turns out to be better and for nearly half the price. I ordered a handbag which I seen in your shop but when the bag arrived it was patchy and looked like something had been spilt on it. I liked the bag but it was for a present so I returned it for an exchange , hope the new bag is better . Wasn't happy that it cost £4 to return it

Hi Linda, Sorry that the bag didn't arrive in perfect condition, all products are checked before they leave the warehouse, but sometimes problems can slip through the net. Ordered a jacket which came very quickly, in fact the day after order placed. This was the only good aspect of this order. The wrong jacket was sent, both colour and style not as ordered. As return postage is not provided and Recorded Delivery was recommended I had to pay almost £7 to return this and hope this will be refunded. Also on day the order arrived I phoned the Head Office to speak about this before returning it, I had to leave a message and no-one has got back to me 4 days later. Very disappointing.

My order took 12 days to arrive. My husband hand to contact you to find out why it was taking so long. Would of been nice to have been informed why it was held up.

£4 for delivery and £4 for return. Bit steep. Dont expect ill order anything else.

Dear Alison, Thank you for your feedback. We do offer free delivery on orders over £49 and it is £3.99 for anything below that and we feel the charge is in line with competitors. We do offer a free collect in store and return to store service for anyone local to one of our stores. We can see this is not a suitable option for you so you needed to return the item via post. Currently we are too small to be able to offer free returns, however this is something we hope to be able to do in the future. I would not recommend online purchase from lakeland leather except you have actually been to their stores and tried the item. Customers are made to pay postal cost which could range from £12-£20 to exchange an item for another size. The return policy is really bad and a very poor sales strategy.

Our website clearly states that returns are at your own cost, however we do not charge postage again to send out an exchange if you do request another size. As a small company we are currently unable to offer free returns via post (although it is something we are looking into for the future). We do however offer free returns to one of our stores. I placed an order and paid for on the 22nd Jan and had not heard any confirmation or dispatch details until I sent an email on the 26th asking about my order I then received an email saying my order had been dispatched which was the standard reply with no explanation I sent a further email asking why and have had a reply to this. Today the 27th I received another email at 10.20 saying that my order had been dispatched at 1pm the postman delivered the order,unfortunately a buttom was missing on one of the items a £1.20 refund has been offered . The lack of customer service contact to my emails was very disappointing.

Dear Mr Pollock, We are pleased that your order arrived within 3 working days as it is within expectations of 3-5 working days as stated on our website. We are sorry that we were unable to reply to your emails on the 26th January, however did reply to them as soon as we were able to on the 27th January. We are sorry a button was missing on one of the items and after speaking to your wife and checking there was a spare she was more than happy to sew that on and accept the 10% discount we offered; this was refunded to you straight away and an email was sent to notify you that this had been done. Usually order goods via internet and receive free package/postage from most company's. Had to pay £3.99 for just a shirt to be delivered which did not arrive any earlier than those items that had free post

Having had the boots delivered I was very disappointed when I had to return them because they had no side zip so impossible to get them on,but even more upset when I had to pay 11.00 to send them back,will not be returning

Having waiting a good while for my delivery I was very disappointed that the wrong size was delivered and then the cost of returning the item Is at my expense when it was no fault of mine

The slippers I returned appeared to be good quality but they were too large, although I take a size 8 (42) in all shoes. What I was annoyed about is that when I called to say I was returning them but didn't have a pre paid label, I was informed that Lakeland customers have to pay for their own returns...in this case £3.99 to ensure a signature and tracking. It is to be hoped that when the credit does come through it shows not only the cost of the slippers but the cost of the delivery To me! It will be interesting to see if this review is actually printed.

Goods were easily ordered on line but are still not available to pick up yet which seems a bit of a slow delivery for a shop collection it must be at least 10 days!

Very disappointed. I bought 2 jumpers in the sale. One is not a good fit at all - so baggy and loose and goodness knows how it will wash. The other one is beautiful - I bought it for £29.99 reduced from £59.99. When I received it however it had clearly been marked down again to £17.99. Although i will not be returning these jumpers mainly due to the fact I would have to pay myself via Recorded delivery, however I will NOT be a returning customer.
