“First jacket was badly damaged. They did the usual thing of claiming it was all part of a natural leather product. Sent a replacement and it too was damaged. Jacket number three was the exact same jacket as the first, which is just pathetic. Customer service was extremely poor. The customer service manager was argumentative and unhelpful. Even spoke to the managing director, who clearly couldn’t give a toss.”

Hello, As we pride ourselves on only using the best leather we do not feel the need to coat it and disguise all of its beautiful natural features, so from time to time you will see slight shading and creasing, this is part of what makes your jacket unique and gives it its lovely soft touch. Creasing can sometimes occur with newly bought leathers, due to our leather being so soft it can pick up creases in the box but they do fall out as quickly as they are picked up. We would advise hanging them on the outside of your wardrobe on a good sturdy hanger and this will happen naturally. We do not believe that these natural features are faults. With each of the jackets you returned we issued you with a free postage label so we could investigate the claims you had made and offered you an exchange or refund, even sending photographs in advance to ensure your satisfaction before we posted the order as you had not been satisfied with the previous, this is above and beyond what we would usually do but our team were happy to do so to ensure you got the jacket that was just right for you. many thanks Lakeland Leather

“Great jackets and sound delivery/returns and tracking process. Quality products and speedy turnarounds. Returned two jackets for smaller sizes and delighted with the results. Only drawback was that I seemed to lose my 10% discount which was applied to original order, but not to replacement.”

“I lived local to the Bowness store and recently bought the tan crossbody Torver handbag in the sale. The quality of the bag is fantastic and it's the perfect size for daily use. It's smart but also casual so will be perfect for any occasion. I love that it says Lakeland Leather in gold on the front. It has a handy outside pocket for a card wallet plus an inside pocket on the front and a zip pocket inside on the back. The adjustable strap is great too and very sturdy. The only slight negative is the opening at the top is quite snug, which would be better if the zip opened wider either side, but it's a minor niggle. I'm looking forward to using this bag a lot and showing it off!”
