“I ordered a new office chair: California, charcoal grey It arrived via dpd the following day. Two days later a second one arrived via Yodel. I had only ordered and paid for one. Neither had assembly instructions. Reported the mistake and the other will be collected next week. Quality is good, but would have thought a small gesture for my honesty and repackaging of the second one, which we opened to check: future discount etc. Nothing offered from very helpful customer services.”

“This review covers the company (4*) and the chairs (3*). Overall we are happy with the chairs and the delivery was reasonably quick, price was reasonable but not that cheap. The chairs required assembly, but the metal frames didn't fit that nicely together due to some sloppy welds in the metal frame connection points, with some spacers and careful filing to remove the restricting weld drips I managed to sort it out, but shouldn't have to mess around like that and most wouldn't have been able to and been left with a poorly fitting frame. I didn't bother contacting their customer services because I resolved it myself.”

“The chairs are comfortable and are a lovely colour. However, the legs on one of the chairs do not align completely over the screw holes, making it a pain to screw in.”

“Arrived next day (brilliant!) and super quick to set up. I decided to go for material rather than the PU leather as I had a similar one before and it cracked after less than a year (from another seller not Lakeland). This looks fantastic, feels really well made, and Im using it without the arms so it fits under my desk to keep it out of the way. All in it’s a great chair. I was expecting the material to be a little softer than it is, and its quite hard to sit on, on the first day. But Im assuming it will soften up over time as it starts to shape to you. Overall though, I’d definitely recommend it, but we’ll see if it softens up over the next few days. Oh, and it’s considerably better shaped than and of the much more expensive Ikea seats I tried out yesterday.”

“Nice bar stools. Very stylish and compact. Easy to assemble (if pilot holes are accurate. Stools sit neatly under the island. Excellent service and delivery. Came within two days. Marked one point down because on pilot hole on underside of the chair was misaligned so I had to cut the fabric to assemble. Also one of the embossed ‘front’ arrows on the foot rests was pointing the wrong way! Still all assembled and look great”

“The product (Office chair) was surprisingly good quality. Very sturdy, comfortable, looks great. Came in a couple of days. The were a couple of screws that seemed to have been lost in transit and Lakeland were quick and responsive in rectifying this”
