“With Covid19 visiting our shores, I have been asked to Work From Home. So, my first purchase was a comfy office chair and lots of coffee! The chair I ordered from Lakeland. Wow!!! What service, ordered 9pm Sunday, email and text communication was second to non! Delivered ahead of time on Tuesday am. It’s so comfy, great colour, so easy to assemble! Thank you Lakeland for taking all the pain out of buying on line. I will shop again. Thanks! CN.”

“Barstool looks nice, good to sit on but base is far too small for size of seat and weight. Be careful when getting off stool as I fell forward and bruised myself during the fall.”

“Very pleased with the service I received, I ordered three bar stools which are lovely one base was sent wrong but recieved 1st class service, emailed customer service was replied to straight away and brand new base was sent next day delivery. Would definitely recommend!”

“Avoid! Very poor quality products! Laughable customer service! I wish I had read some of the reviews online before purchasing from Lakeland Furniture. You can ignore the reviews on their website as they are all positive. I of course understand why they wouldn’t include the negative reviews. It seems I am one of many who have experienced similar problems with quality of product and also sending out the wrong products. I ordered a grey Scanon office chair order number 140048789. When it arrived I found a manufacturing defect where the seams on the chair were not stitched. I emailed Lakeland Furniture with photos and they asked if I was prepared to keep the chair for a £25 refund. I told them no I wasn’t. If I was to use the chair the split would only get worse. They arranged to send out a replacement chair. Unfortunately the replacement chair they sent was the wrong one. They did say I could keep it instead of the one I ordered but I told them I actually wanted the chair I ordered. At this point there was an offer of a £10 good will gesture plus a new correct chair would be sent out and the previous chair collected. I did receive an email stating ‘Please be advised the refund (goodwill gesture) has been issued and will be in your account within 3-5 working days’. This was a lie as it was never processed. The replacement chair arrived but had the same defective stitching. Clearly quality control is very poor. By this time I had lost confidence in the product and asked them to collect and give me a full refund. They did this but there was no goodwill gesture. When I asked why I was told ‘The gesture of good will is paid back to you from your own money.’ I found that quite funny and certainly won’t lose any sleep over it. If they carry on like this they will however lose plenty of customers. I would not use Lakeland Furniture again.”

“Kitchen chairs arrived promptly the day following the order. Attractive and comfortable. Shame that one of the legs had a stripped thread so had to request replacement. This arrived the day following receipt of my email. All in all pretty good service. Certainly will consider using them again”
