We purchased 3 beautiful gel stools last week. They really were beautiful. Unfortunately they are no good for my husband nor, I think, for anyone taller than myself. The footrest is positioned on the riser so the gap between the seat and the footrest remains the same however high or low the seat is. This means my husband either keeps the seat low and his feet on the floor or alternatively, has his knees up near his chest. Not the most comfortable way to sit. Your site and your delivery are brilliant

Hi! I would like to say thank you for the prompt response on customer service email. I ordered 4 chairs, received only 2 but they said the other box its on its way. Still waiting and hopefully all goes well.

Items were nice and clean, unfortunately, my boxes were ripped on delivery and needed to exchange. The exchange process is very good, a shame for a return you have to pay for a courier yourself.

One of the 4 chairs that arrived had sellotape taped to the chair seat rather than underneath the seat. This has resulted in a sticky mark left behind from the sellotape which I do not know how to remove without damaging the chair. Whoever put the wrappings over the chair was very careless!!!

The Black Cuban bar stools were great when initially purchased albeit I had some initial issues with parts which were resolved reasonably quickly. 3 months after the warranty period ended, we noticed a tear next to the seam on one and although it is acceptable that they would not provide a free replacement, I could not even purchase a replacement part e.g. the seat which seems wasteful.

I bought a bar stool with chrome legs. The choice was excellent, with three or four leg finishes and a range of colours. The chair, when built was as seen on the website. Delivery took two days, much faster than expected. The stool needed construction and there were no instructions provided and I had to get help to build it and it took a little working out. One bolt was missing and so far I can't buy one to completely finish the job. We chose one in the chair seat to leave empty. There were some small dents in one leg and on the footrail. Overall, I was disappointed by the difficulties in building the stool which really impacted on the whole purchase. The stool looks great in the kitchen, which is newly fitted, but the experience was disappointing.

The bar stools look good are sturdy and comfortable. Unfortunately, although packed in one box, one of the bases had obviously been unpacked and returned as there is a dent in the base. The welding on back of seat is rough causing our granddaughter to scratch

Nice Chair very easy to assemble however, the wood is much darker than shown in the pictures and I was particular with my choice as I was trying to match existing furniture. The wood resembles walnut rather than a shiny rustic oak/pine

Ive been asked to write a review but the product has not arrived yet, its a week late, probably new year related but as no one works at the weekend i cant find out for sure as they tell me its dispatched but dpd are denying receipt of it.

The chair was a good price and arrived promptly after order. Relatively easy to assemble, there are some faux leather covers for the arm rests that are fiddly and use a zipper, but enhance the look. Quality wise, not so sure...it isn’t as comfortable as the one it replaced, doesn’t feel that sturdy and the adjustable seating positions don’t seem to include ‘fixed’ meaning it rocks slightly (as in moves, not as in “it rocks”). I agree with previous comments about the instructions, relatively clear, but they do leave you guessing (find the person who writes the User Manual and packages the ‘bits’ for Nordic Ski and ask them to do yours).

Delivered on time.not easy to put together the bolts could do with being about 5mm longer so too make it easier to get them started.Both the chairs are leaning To the right I think due to the fixings out of line. A G HILL

I was really impressed with the fast delivery and service, unfortunately there are a couple of small yellow stains on my chair. I’ve heard good things about Lakeland and would need to purchase more furniture to know if this was a one off account. Great chair when assembled though!

Chair was the right size and colour as described. Was easy to put together. I am contacting the company though, as stiching was lose in areas and wheels don’t roll.

The quality of the items looked great on the website and can't fault the delivery however sadly we were sent two left legs for one bar stool which came loosely packaged and another one had scratches on it. Both were returned. Customer service on the missing items was good but customer service to return wasn't great. Wasn't clear if they were paying (they should, it's their fault with goods) or I was so I didn't take the risk and returned it myself at a fraction of the penalty they apply to returns organised by them.
