“I was looking for an addition for my ladders. The website for Ladderstore was easy to use and found my item easily. The value was good and the delivery was very quick. All in all, the service from this company was top notch and I'll definitely use them again.”

“Their website states 'we offer a 30 day no quibble guarantee, if you purchase a product and you are not happy, simply return the item in its original packaging for a full refund'. However, when I recently tried to return an item Ladderstore demanded an outrageous £70 for 'return carriage and the return cost'. I eventually managed to get a refund, but only after insisting on booking the return courier myself. Despite using the same courier service as Ladderstore this cost me just £16.66 (fully insured) so I can only conclude that Ladderstore are attempting to levy a substantial restocking/admin fee. This is not permitted under Consumer Contracts Regulations and I will be reporting Ladderstore's behaviour to the relevant trading standards body.”

Hi Peter Many thanks for getting in touch, i am sorry your experience was not a positive one. If the product is not required by the customer, we do give the customer the option to return the product themselves at their own cost for a full refund. We also offer to collect the product from customers though our third-party courier at the price we are quoted from them. We do not provide details of our collection courier to customers until collections are made as we use different couriers, if you are able to advise who you used to get the collection price, i can investigate this further for you.

“Had been planning on buying this 2.9m Werner telescopic loft ladder for some 6 months and finally nearly purchased it from Amazon, believing I would not find it cheaper anywhere else after much research. Did one last final search and not sure how ladder store managed to beat my previous best price by nearly £50 but they had. Honestly I knew I was taking a chance after reading mixed reviews for ladder store but my experience has been nearly all positive. The Good. Price was amazing and could not buy it cheaper anywhere, arrived in immaculate packaging with No missing parts, was delivered in good time from point of ordering. The bad , terrible communication had no idea my order was arriving as received no notification of it being dispatched or out for delivery, just lucky I was at home. That said very satisfied customer.”

“Ladderstores website is so comprehensive that it was easy to find a new loft ladder that met my specifications. I must mention the comprehensive fitting instructions available on line which enabled me to more easily make my decision to order. Two days later they arrived by courier and fitted as a DIY project the following day. No issues fitting them. But I must say a second pair of hands would have been useful. Great company to do business with.”
