I ordered a set of ladders from this company and paid the 'next day' delivery fee. I was still waiting a week later for the ladders. I had to contact them to glean any information about the delay. Moreover, I'm still awaiting a refund for the 'next day delivery fee', having been told this would be refunded. I would not recommend this company because of their poor customer service!

The ladder arrived very quickly, so full marks for that. Now the negative side. The ladder came with a significant dent on one of the runs. I can still use it, But I’m not exactly happy.

Purchased the Stair platform made by Hailo, tried it on the stairs only to find out they are not fit for purpose on UK size steps. The platform works out at approx 1.5 inches out of level heading down the stairs. I notified Ladderstore, the lady was already aware of this issue with the platform. I said I wanted to send them back for a refund, but apparently because I had tried the item that wouldn’t be possible, instead got £25 back....

They did not have the product that was displayed failed to get the product in for months and then took an age to send me a refund. Very poor show!

Good Afternoon, I have had a look at this for you and I can see that unfortunately we were let down on a number of occasions by our supplier and the delivery of the stock into our warehouse. Terrible service was made to wait outside for 30 minutes , and then told it was at our warehouse . Drove across Bolton oney to find it was at an over night courier company . I then had to wait a further 20 mins for them to find it !! Rang up to complain and they offered me 10% off my next order ........................... I would not use this company again , very disappointing service .

£250 Ladder took week and a half, rather than next day delivery(when it was needed), and it seemed to be used when arrived. Ladderstore blamed delivery company and they didn't took full responsibility of the situation, only offered to me exchange or refund when both solutions were no feasible for my situation and it was considered a poor resolution. There is no legal boundary on delivery day compromise so do not trust. This was my second purchase with them delivered to the same place (first time was good hence the second purchase)and I have had to do several calls that neither were compensated, even asked to deal directly with the delivery company, please when I am buying something I am expecting to get the whole service and have a simple and straight experience, not add unnecessary complications on my life because of a lack of seriousness and professionalism.

Hi Jose, I'm sorry you were unhappy with the service you received from Ladderstore. We did try to resolve this with the carrier company and added the missing line of the address when it was provided to us. With regards the item that was ultimately damaged once delivered we did offer either a full refund or a new replacement item, or alternatively a discount against the order by way of compensation. I believe there was a mix-up on the original purchase order sent through and this is currently being dealt with internally to amend. Ladderstore

They claim to have a refund policey that they dont follow i was charged delivery and restocking fees for a ladder that was wrongly sent and recieved , order else where as they are only middle men with no customer care !! Avoid!!

I'm very sorry you are unhappy with the returns process on these ladders. Our returns policy does state that if an item is ordered in error, we are happy to take it back for up to 30 days. Unfortunately unless an item is damaged or faulty we are unable to carry the cost of returning it to our warehouse. Ordered roof ladder from your website which said the item was in stock & ready to ship. This wasn’t the case. When I called after a week I was advised that the item would be at least another 15 working days till delivery. I asked for a full refund & purchased the item elsewhere the next day. Staff on the phone didn’t seem too bothered to assist me or even offer an alternative product. Won’t be using the ladder store again.

Staff were unhelpful with a return to exchange the ladder (branded) which was very heavy in weight for another ladder of low weight but expensive (light weight). Indeed, it was just a mere collection of the packed ladder and providing another. The un-helpfulness approach forced me to bear courier charges. I was frustrated as no response came although they said they would help me quickly with my request. Would not ever buy from them.

Many apologies that you were not satisfied with the service in exchanging your ladder. Unfortunately the carriers can not offer a collection and a delivery at the same time as these are different services and have to be booked separately. We do put all the specifications for the products online and do ask that people double check the size/weight of the item before ordering to avoid any costs for return. Ladderstore

When the delivery driver was delivering the unit. The delivery van subsequently suffered a mechanical fault, which was indeed unfortunate. However, he abandoned his vehicle without our knowledge in the middle of our forecourt and was still there 3 hours later. Thus causing an eyesore to our forecourt and us being inconvenienced as we could not move any vehicles in the area as the vehicle was blocking the main thoroughfare around our site. The vehicle was then recovered and taken away thankfully.

I am very sorry to hear that. Whilst unfortunate, I can understand the frustration. Unfortunately we have little control over what the carriers do but we certainly would not expect them to do this. I will feed this back to the delivery company. Apologies for the inconvenience caused. Ladderstore

3 times you kept promising me that the ladders i order would be delivered,you even blamed the courier as an excuse.got sick of waiting so i cancelled the order,went somewhere else.
