“The Milwaukee refractometer tells me that my salinity is 38ppt. My calibrated Hanna Salinity checker says 34.5ppt. This 34.5ppt is also confirmed by a calibrated DD H2O refractometer. I have checked this multiple times and even purchased distilled water to ensure that my calibration is correct. The Milwaukee unit is either terribly innacurate or just faulty. I am currently liaising with Kraken about this product but on the basis of the unit that I have received it is an expensive product that is not fit for purpose.”

“I ordered 3 things. 2 of which came fine. 1 was damaged. I contacted the seller and they offered a partial refund which I felt was not acceptable. But I held my ground and said I wanted a replacement. The seller then emailed me back and accepted. They mailed me a replacement the day after. So overall acceptable, I had a problem and eventually it was sorted. It could of been sorted a little faster but it did get sorted. I will try this company again and give them the benefit of the doubt.”
