“My son (8yrs Year 4) started Komodo 2 weeks ago. We emigrated to the UK in Dec 2015. We needed to "start bridging the gap" between Sputh Africa school and new UK school (missed out app 4mths). He really needed to get a better outlook on maths in general. His enthusiasm was low down. I investigated a few options and Komodo came out tops! Short, regular, interesting sessions. Age/level appropriate after assessment. Great regular communication between son and mom! We look forward to a long journey with Komodo growing from level to level.”

“Good but still finding the levels too easy - I know they are set at a level they can do so that they don't get demotivated, but feel they shouldn't still be getting a+ virtually every time!”

“Komodo is good for my daughter's maths. The motivation/reward side of it is excellent & she also enjoys receiving messages from family through Komodo. I have noticed a bit of a glitch recently, in that if my daughter misses out a few questions in a lesson the programme doesn't prompt her to do them. It marks her down on a lesson because of missing out questions, this then means she has to do more lessons before getting a stage shortcut. Thanks, kathryn”

“My Kids have enjoyed using Komodo for several years and their foundation in Maths is now stronger enabling quicker understanding of new topics. There is no quick fix solution to gaining knowledge but Komodo takes a refreshing and fun approach to help Children progress and gain confidence. “Both my son and daughter do Komodo ( now 6 and 8). I started them both at the beginning of year 2. It's really helped my daughter, as maths is more challenging for her and the repetition and range of exercises has helped to consolidate her learning and raise her confidence when talking numbers. They use their rewards to buy "ipad time" and so we are all happy! Every time I have had a query or needed help with anything linked to the app, the Komodo team respond immediately and have always been really helpful. I also enjoy reading the info emails that come through for parents. Erin says " it's brilliant as it helps you learn in a more fun way because you get prizes and stars. I really like getting Komodo belts. I think because I work hard doing Komodo that I don't need extra extra help at school. I did have a time I got a bit fed up with it but it has helped me know I can get better and I really like it again and am on the black bronze medal which makes me really proud." Fin says " I like it because it's easy and you get lots of prizes and I like it because I love being on the iPad".”

“We have three boys and they all enjoyed the interface and the structure of komodo. The lessons are straight forward and avoid the phony story lines of some of the other math programs we have come across in North America. The feedback is fast and useful, and the techniques for learning math concepts solid and based in sound teaching approaches”

“This is an excellent ap for children and I highly recommend the learning programme. My three boys have all benefited enormously by using it to practise their number skills and learn new topics in maths. It has reflected in their work at school with their teachers moving them up in their ability sets in the classroom. It is easy to use, fun to use and for them has been an excellent motivator in finding maths more enjoyable and giving them a great sense of attainment in that area of their learning. The company are also quick to respond to queries. My eldest twin is nearing completion of the programme so my only down point is that the site content needs to be extended which I have been assured will be happening in the immediate future.”

Hi, You can remove or change the limit on daily use in the Settings. I will send an email showing how.

“My 6 year old daughter is really beginning to improve at maths since we started the Komodo program. She does two lessons everyday and enjoys getting good grades. I highly recommend this app and have found the customer service and level of support to be excellent.”

“Simple but effective. Difficulty level increases at a rate to suit the child. No bells and whistles, so not for "entertainment", but a more "pure" learning experience.”
