“So far, I can only rate ordering process, delivery and instructions for assembly and “first steps”.
All of these were perfect.
I’ve walked around a bit with my iWalk and I’m confident that it’ll enhance my recovery immeasurably.
But for now, I’m laid up in hospital after my 8 hour foot operation, waiting for the physios to get me going…”
“This was the first time I have dealt with this company and the customer services was first class. From the time I placed the order until it was delivered Steve(Director) was in regular communication answering my questions and providing information on the product and delivery updates. I would highly recommend.”
“Purchased my crutch from Steve. Throughout the course of my recovery it was not required. Steve, suggested re-buying it back off me, with which I was happy to do. Very professional and it was returned easily and the payment made. Excellent service 5 star. Many thanks”
“Really like the company. Small business - I called and had a great chat with the owner when I was considering getting one (had an upcoming foot operation) He was straightforward and walked me through the requirements. It was the reassurance I needed.”
“This looks like a great aid. Unfortunately it wasn’t suitable for me as I have previous multiple body fractures and pelvis reconstructed and not symmetrical. I will have to try to sell it.”
“The service and delivery were excellent, the crutch arrived the next day. It was ordered for my 73yr old Mum, who had had Achilles surgery. The instructional videos for putting it together, set up and use were clear and super helpful. Unfortunately after some practice, Mum wasn't comfortable on it ((A confidence issue, not a product issue), so we took advantage of the 15 days w return policy, which was implemented with zero fuss. A sold product, great service and would def recommend it as an option.”
“This was great. After a couple of weeks on crutches and other implements after my ankle surgery, this gave me the freedom to get about. AND carry a cup of tea at the same time!”
“I am currently giving only 4 out 5 stars for the following reasons. I think the knee crutch is absolutely brilliant although it is quite tough to build without a bit more brute strength than I have. Nevertheless, I managed it. I am not sure I have the measurements right, it is quite difficult to work out whether a small adjustment might improve things further and I am seeing a physio on Thursday. I would like a pro o watch me walk in it because I think it might still need adjusting - I find the adjusting pretty hard on the hands too but maybe it just needs WD40. It is very quick and easy to get used to and totally transforms being stuck on one leg as compared with crutches or anything else. My main question over it is whether it would not be possible to have slightly more size tailoring in manufacture - the crutch at one size fits all obviously needs to be pretty solid for a 6'6", 250 pounder or whatever the highest weight is, I am reasonably tall at about 5'8" but weigh a bare 120 lbs and I feel I would, in an ideal world, be better with a bit less weight in the crutch - I think so long as the balance was right with enough weight in the foot, the rest of the structure could be made of lighter weight metal or varying weights, at least getting as far as a small, medium and large. I am not sure I would enjoy walking too far in this especially on rough ground with a lot of ups and downs and yet I am quite sure someone altogether bigger would have no problem with it at all. I am generally fit and quite strong but just not that heavy and the crutch is. Anyway it is an amazing step forward, literally, in possibilities for people with non weight-bearing injuries. I shall be wearing it to go for a plaster change at the Wellington hospital in London next week where they have a major rehab centre and will highly recommend it to anyone who is interested included my surgeon who solely works on ankles - they currently offer knee wheel chairs or crutches only and the knee wheels obviously require hands for moving plus are only marginally more manoeuvrable than the office chair which I have previously used for the same purpose. I am very glad I found the knee crutch a the point I was trying to do things with 2 hands and lost my temper. The 4 stars, as said, are purely a question of the one size fits all so far as weight.”
“I actually decided not to keep my iWalk because of reasons beyond my control but I still want to review this company. Right from the very start when I starting investigate the iWalk Kneecrutch the help and assistance from this company was second to none. The care and consideration with my situation was amazing and the understanding when I had to return the crutch after everything they'd done for me was just brilliant. This crutch wasn't for me but I'm confident in saying that if you do go for it yourself you won't regret it and the service you will receive will be exceptional - thank you very much”
“This is a fantastic enabling piece of equipment. My son has 6 weeks of post-op non-weight bearing on his left ankle and the iWALK is helping him get around as he is unable to use conventional crutches. The crutch is comfortable, very stable and easy to use. The instructions are comprehensive and communication with UK Knee Crutches Ltd excellent.”
“Review: 5 out of 5
Comment: He iwalk has been amazing. It has made such a difference. I can wander around with my hands free. Easy to fit and super easy to use. So much easier than crutches. No adverse impact on rest of my body. Best thing ever.”
“Absolutely life changing. I am post foot surgery so cannot weight bear on that foot. By having the knee crutch I have attended my check up at the hospital and this morning managed to walk my daughter to school. I use the knee crutch totally on its own when I'm at home so I can carry things, then when I go out I do take my arm crutches as well just as extra support. The knee crutch is fine to use without them but I just like the extra reassurance. Would recommend this product to anyone. Thank you so much for making my life easier.”
