The customer service provided to us by KLG was very poor; we placed our order in April and was given a 3 month lead time. KLG were then extremely slow to send out a surveyor, a builder etc and when we chased anything up, the service provided was appalling, as though we were inconveniencing them. After 6 months of constant delays and us constantly calling for non-existent updates, we had our French doors fitted. The fitters were professional, courteous and polite. A job well done by them, totally let down and appalled by the sales team.

Thank you for your comments. Here at KLG Rutland we pride ourselves on being clear and honest. Your order was placed in the last week of May and completed in the first week of October 2021. We apologise that this lead time of 4 months and two weeks differed from the 3 months approximation that was given to you at the start of the contract. During these unprecedented times we will only book in a secure fitting date once all the products have been manufactured and sourced, there are industry wide shortages in construction and during the pandemic we have tried to not let people down even if sometimes things are out of our hands. Your job was not straight forward and following a structural survey we had to re book further inspections for the concrete surrounds to ensure the installation could be undertaken in compliance with health and safety and building regulations. When these were complete your products were placed into manufacture. We had our old conservatory replaced with a Rutland conservatory complete with bi-fold doors and the warm roof system,they are not the cheapest but we like to support local business,the sales rep surveyor and installation team were brilliant, when measuring for new blinds we noticed small straight scratched on one door and window glass we contacted Rutland who sent a surveyor to inspect he agreed that the glass was scratched, we were surprised to receive an invoice to replace the units at nearly £300 when I phoned Rutland informed me that as the units had been fitted for more than a two weeks they would have to charge he also said that glass scratches very easily, we have had double glazed units since 1978 and have never scratched any of the glass. Will not be ordering glass splashbacks for our new kitchen if KLG glass scratches before it has even been cleaned once.

Dear Mr Burnett, we are very sorry to hear that you’ve been unhappy with aspects of the service from KLG. We are a small, local company, and really do strive to offer the best service possible, however we do not replace any glass that has been fitted for over 2 weeks as it is simply impossible to know where the scratches have come from once the installation has been signed off. Your glass had unfortunately been installed for 3 months when the scratches were reported to us. KLG Rutland
We Oder a door to be fitted at my mother house klg was not the cheepis but with all the good feed back I what to the show room and order the the we had to wait 5 to 6 week that’s was ok then the fitter came out it was a subcontractor witch I was told they don’t use so was not happy with that turn up in a batter old van then when he left I got home to see if mum like the door she said have a look it had marks all over it and they sent someone out and now got to wait for another door I would not use this company again as the service was shocking you mite as well go to a back street company

Dear Mr Toop, we do apologise for any dissatisfaction that your mother has felt, we are always disappointed if our customers are unhappy with the service they receive from KLG Rutland. We always try to rectify any mistakes made and uphold the warranties we issue. We would also like to apologise for any misinterpretation regarding our installers, we run a mixture of employed and self-employed tradesmen, if someone has told you otherwise then they were misinformed, and we will rectify this. All of them are time served tradesman with MTC certification and appropriate vehicles for the trades they work in. There is no difference in the quality of work we or our customers should expect for any tradesman we engage. Regarding the door, this has been now replaced and we hope that you and your mother are happy with the new product. Did not re-fit locks as quoted and caused problems with alarm sensor. Not happy with overall service.

We are a small, local company, and really do strive to offer the best service possible – not only because we want to know we’ve done the best job we can, but because we want our customers to spread the word by saying nice things about us to their friends and families! As a result, we’re always very sorry to hear that we might have let somebody down. Our records show that we were unable to fit the existing Yale locks on the day because the spindle was too short to work in the new composite doors, that were more substantial. We then secured the property using the locking system that is standard on all our composite doors. Later we returned and fitted additional brand new Yale locks to the doors free of charge. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this oversight may have caused you.
