“I chose Barrowford KDC as they offered the full package of design, build and fitting and project management. Here we met the lovely Abi.
I also spotted the display of taupe cupboards and sparkly Fossil quartz worktop and loved it straightaway. Having spoken with Abi she came to have a look at our current layout of separate kitchen and through dining room / lounge. I wanted to make this into a kitchen diner, complete with an island or peninsular, breakfast bar, room for a dining table and party area, plus storage. We also wanted to keep the understairs pantry and the original kitchen door and patio doors. Abi took all this onboard and delivered a great design, which we loved straightaway, so much so that we didn't change anything apart from a cupboard into drawers and opting for white walls. We had a few hiccups with the building work prior to our fitting date but Abi was always on hand to help which was greatly appreciated. Her positive and cheerful personality was uplifting.
Craig, our fitter, was excellent. He was very professional, highly skilled and knowledgeable with a great attention to detail. He was also very tidy, which was greatly appreciated.
KDCs customer service and delivery were excellent and the products are of a high quality. It was certainly worth paying that bit extra.

Snags were always resolved quickly. Mark, our fitter, was superb, also coming back to sort out bits and pieces. We also found KDC highly competitive price wise.
Nearly 12 months down the line and we can still call them up if we have any questions.

“I have recently had an extension and new kitchen. Kitchen Design Centre, Failsworth was recommended to me by a good friend who used KDC for her kitchen over 5 years ago and was extremely satisfied with them. She saved me hours of research and time looking at other kitchen companies as I trust her opinion (and her kitchen is fab!) Suppose I’m not your ‘typical’ customer. My first visit to KDC was June 2023 and Paul Harrington welcomed me into the showroom and unfortunately for him – he was allocated as my designer and contact. After numerous visits to the showroom, many emails exchanged I finally had my kitchen fitted April 2024. (Paul said apparently some people decide on their kitchen in one visit – not me!) Needless to say I don’t make decisions quickly, I changed my mind a LOT and it was important to me that I felt I had my stamp on the design. The footprint of the kitchen is an irregular somewhat quirky shape but this did not phase Paul. He was patient throughout and nothing ever seemed a problem to him. He made it seem everyone was as chaotic as me! He quietly re-designed the layout several times as I changed my mind. I am so happy with my new kitchen. The quality is first class and feels very luxurious. There have been a few teething problems which Paul dealt with quickly and efficiently. I am so happy with my new kitchen, and we are enjoying the new space with family and friends. I would recommend Paul and the team at KDC to anyone taking the step of having new kitchen in their home.
