“I've been looking at a Kilt I could use more on a daily basis as I am lucky that my employer actually encourages me to wear my kilts. I work with Seniors, and they love it when I wear my Kilt, Especially the Lassies... I didn't want to keep using my two 4 yd 13 oz casual wool kilts on an almost daily basis, though I am sure my Seniors who I transport everyday, wouldn't mind. I was aware of Kilt Society and in the past looked at what they had to offer and said, "One Day" I am going to order an Essentials Kilt. After a few emails between Hayleigh, and then Sarah and myself, Customer Service is Above Par, I ordered the Essentials Scottish National kilt. This was on a Thursday, and I had it the following Wednesday, ahead of FedEx's Scheduled time of Delivery for the next day. I've had things in the past take longer to get to me shipped within Canada. For a Poly Rayon Kilt, it is quite Grand. Being an off the Rack kilt, I was surprised at how well it looked. A couple of things needed to be tweaked, but all in all I am quite pleased with it. I love the feel of the 8 yards of fabric, It is quite heavier than what I thought it would be, The pleats still have that Swish to them that a Full 8 yd Woolen Kilt has and they keep their crease even after using all day. If one does get a bit of a wrinkle, a quick press with an Iron and we are back in business, if it doesn't right itself hanging overnight. I have people come up to me and tell me what a nice Kilt it is, and are surprised to learn it isn't a Woolen Kilt, but a PV Kilt. Some who are in the Know, usually my Scottish Seniors, even ask if they can feel the fabric to see for themselves. My Essentials Kilt has become my favourite kilt to wear, and now I have a third kilt to wear so as to keep my Woolen Casual Kilts for special occasions. I will be ordering another kilt from Kilt Society, maybe the Heritage of Scotland as it matches the Company Colours where I work.. Now if there was Canada's Maple Leaf Tartan in an Essentials Kilt..”

We think they are a great alternative to a woolen kilt and it's good to hear others have been so impressed to. We've been working on designing our own Persevere Tartan Kilt range and hope that we'll see this in 2019 after much hard work from our team. So watch out we'll have a unique range on it's way.
