Kilts not despatched 'til I contacted KS to say overdue. There response: Delivery on time is an "upgrade" (but will waive extra charge Then KS said in stock items were you TG of stock. (They suggested I accept wrong tartan and/or wrong size) Then KScancelled legally binding contract because they did not want to meet their liabilities. Then items were delivered and I had to pay for goods again.

Hi Richard, I can see that one of our team got in touch with you regarding your order to let you know that sadly a few of the items you had selected were unfortunately out of stock and offered alternatives. As none of the alternative options were suitable we refunded the order back to you in full. It does look as though there was a bit of an admin error in the customer service team as your items became available the very next day and were sent out to you by our warehouse team. On receipt of the goods we were thrilled to hear you were happy to keep the items and kindly agreed to pay for the order again. We do understand that this might not be the best first impression of us, as you've not ordered before but it seems the mistake was just due to simple human error and I do hope you'll think of us again in the future if you need any further accessories - Sam

The finishing on these were very poor the buttons and the zip both broke on the first time of wearing rendering the trousers unusable

Hi Jean Louis, Thanks for taking the time to leave us feedback. I see your order is for the casual trousers, I wonder if you would have preferred the more tailored (but slightly more expensive) standard trews. The casual trousers aren't tailored and baggy(casual) as you have discovered. If you do wish to swap send these back to us. We can then refund and you can place a new order for the alternative trews. ~Rach

Whilst I cannot fault the delivery times, unfortunately the wrong size was delivered. I ordered L/XL and was sent S/M. As I needed it for the next day I did not have time to return and replace. Sizes should be double checked before posting out.

Due to incorrect information given the product arrived too late and I had to travel to London to purchase direct to ensure that I had it on time. Nobody could help me when I phones as they were all at a Team Meeting. I await a refund. A most peculiar way to do business I shall avoid you in the future.

Hi Kessick, I am so sorry that there was such a problem with your order. I'm afraid our couriers only delivery Monday to Friday so when your order was dispatched on the Friday delivery was not due until Monday. To ensure Saturday delivery I'm afraid you have to choose Royal Mail Special Delivery at the check out. We think that its really important to set time a side time each week to catch up with the rest of the team, it keeps us all up to date with the rest of the company and we think it really helps improve our service. I am so sorry that it was at this time you tried to give us a call. As soon as the meeting was over I know Rachel stayed back after hours to get in touch. I am glad she was able to explain the situation and give you our returns details. The order arrived back with us on the 14th of January and it was refunded in full the same day. Again I am so sorry that you have been so unimpressed with the service you have received, I do hope you give us a second try in the future. Absolutely terrible! I ordered a complete kilt outfit, when I received my order the shirt was the wrong colour, the sporran was not the one I ordered, cufflinks and belt were missing. I returned the shirt and sporran for replacement, and also the kilt which was too big (my fault) and asked for the missing cufflinks and belt to be sent too. I did receive a replacement shirt and sporran,and also the cufflinks and belt, but NO replacement kilt. This company would be much more profitable if they sent out the correct orders first time and not have to send endless parcels to fulfil someones original order. One mistake in processing someones order is bad, but twice is unacceptable

Hi Pete, I hope this makes it through to you as my other emails don't seem to be. I'd hate for you to think we were ignoring you. Apologies for the confusion here. We'd treated this as two returns to speed things up. For the items missed or incorrect from your order (apologies for this error) we had created a new order for you (this was the exchange email you received). Then when the kilt came back to us we were swapping over and sending the smaller size. We've not received this back yet but after speaking to your mother and understanding your urgency for this I sent this out for you. So sorry if this was a little confusing. Rather than it being a second error it was us simply trying to speed things up for you. Hi James, Its such a shame to hear you are not pleased with your new sgain dubh! The one you have chosen is one of our most popular Clan Crest Sgian dubhs and I can assure you that the handle is not plastic is it moulded from Pewter and resin and is mounted with your Robertson clan crest. They are specially handmade to order in Scotland. I really hope after closer inspection you are happy with your sgian dubh but if you would like any further information please don't hesitate to get in touch ~ Sam

We ordered 5 pink suspenders and we received 5 tan and 5 brown. We can not find out how to contact the company to get our right order. You need to make that easier for the customer. This was for my daughters wedding and we need to be able to send them back and get the right order. Please let me know how I can do this. I need the right order ASAP.

Hi Margaret, I'm sorry to hear your experience wasn't very good, this really isn't typical of buyakilt.com. It was actually myself who you spoke to to arrange the substitution of products, I do apologise if I did not convey my sincerity in this error with your order. It's really not ideal for us not to have products in stock and our website is usually up to date to reflect this. As we were able to arrange a swap for the kilt I do hope this and everything else was suitable with your order. I had twice asked to couple 2 orders sets to have no charges of additional postage and it was answered to me that it was feasible. In the final, I find myself with the separate sending and to pay twice postal charges... I am not satisfied

New trousers arrived went to try them on tonight to make sure they don't split. Unfortunately both buttons this time came off the waistband,so once again cannot use them for the show.

The jacket I bought does not fit yet everywhere else this size does fit. The waistcoat does not fit and is a three button instead of the five button ordered. You boast on your quick delivery yet I have has to wait some time for these items and its too late now to change them so insult to injurie I have to hire them.
