“Recieved my World Peace Tartan today. It´s sooooo beautiful. The colors are even more rich , than on the pics. And it is so soft and fluffy. Can´t wait for the next fall and winter to wear it.”

“Only issue I have is my kilt feels a little tighter on the bum - I do a lot of sport so - perhaps the sizing should have a shape part I hope I can let it out a bit prob only an inch”

“The trousers arrived in the time stated, fitted perfectly and at least three others at the black tie event I wore them at were goin to place orders for them, I will also be getting more from you in different colours, brilliant!”

“We where worried buying the budget kilt but the fit and hang is brilliant without being as heavy as a made to order kilt. Everything came very quickly and is excellent quality will use again once he has grown out of this suit!”

“Very pleased with both the quality and the price. Delivery was extremely quick. These trews are a stylish addition to my wardrobe and I shall were them as evening wear on my next formal dinner. One word of caution however. Most trouser manufacturers now flatter their customer by making trousers slightly oversize. If you are buying these trews, don't work on your theoretical size, but take a tape measure round your middle and take that as the correct size, because they are made to exact waist measurements. Finally, a suggestion to Buyakilt. I am sure you would increase your market if a wider range of tartans was available.”

Hi Sandy, Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us such a great review and your helpful tip to others about the measurements. You are spot on with your advice to measure around the fullest part of your tummy (about belly button height) to get your trews size. This really is quite different to your regular trouser size. Thanks for your feedback on the choice of tartans too, we are only able to offer the 5 listed there on the website for our £39 version but if you are looking for a particular tartan I am sure we can make them up for you, we have a few options on the website there for custom made styles. Please do let me know if you'd like any more information on that. - Sam

“Firstly I was very impressed by the speed in which my order was despatched. I had ordered an Argyll Black Jacket and waistcoat and it arrived the next day. The order was well package and included a jacket cover. The jacket was well made and fitted my husband well. However, the waistcoat came up too short so I entered into 'Chat' on line regarding ordering another size. The 'Chat' was very useful and answered my queries. I also received a personal email from Buyakilt regarding the new order I had submitted. My experience on purchasing from Buyakilt has been brilliant and I would not hesitate to use them again. Keep up the great work”

“It is difficult to express in words how I felt after opening my parcel and seeing a level of quality I never expected. What I can tell you is that I was proud to be Scottish. The entire experience from order to delivery was exceptional. “I bought my tartan from Kinloch Anderson because it was not clear from your website whether your company delivered to Australia ( the Continent and North America were mentioned I recall), a lighter weight was available (more suited to the climate) and better price. I subsequently found that you ship a plaid brooch to Australia (which I am still waiting to receive). Not happy Jan,”
