“Was very happy with my covers to start with, although at £150 ish was a bit steep... This is the 3 rd summer and they have disintegrated, with splits and holes appearing everywhere.. I just felt they should have had a longer life for the cost.. Wouldn't have gone for the originals if I'd known, thought by buying the 'good quality ones' they would last.. 😒”

Thank you for your review and feedback. We are sorry to hear about the issues with your protective covers. Our protective covers are highly durable however, as with any product, the materials can be susceptible to wear and tear over extended periods of time.

“We purchased furniture costing more than £3000 last year to find it has faded considerably despite claims it is UV resistant, maintenance free and will not fade in quality. Kettler aftersales have continually suggested that we use different products to restore it - This has not worked - they then stated that we must have cleaned it using a material that removed the coating - a totally untrue and frankly disgraceful assumption. At every turn have been fobbed off with excuse after excuse. Poor quality furniture and customer care.”

Update: 08/08/2022 Since receiving your review, I can see that we have been in touch with your husband to replace the table slats free of charge so that you are able to enjoy using your table for years to come. We hope that this has gone a little way in restoring your faith in the Kettler brand.

“I have not yet used the paint to retouch my metal patio chairs which are now getting on for 20 years old. I am sure it will be fine but can I use this opportunity to comment on the Charlbury garden set and bespoke covers we recently bought? We are delighted with the furniture and, in general, the covers, but while the ties for the chair covers are easy to use and effective, those on the sofa cover, which for some reason are a different configuration, are barely fit for purpose. I am not sure if it is down to a design fault or poor workmanship, but when we attempt to tighten them they tend to pull out and have to be rethreaded which is a painfully slow process. Hence the loss of a star!”

The ties should not pull out completely from the cover when tightening.
