Kettler Café Roma Table and Chairs. The set has been perfect but to my surprise showed signs of rusting after four years. Kettler acknowledged my concern without argument and replaced the set under guarantee within a week. Exceptional customer service and efficiency.

Very nice furniture, helpful staff. Customer care is second to none. No quibbles at all with a genuine problem. Dealt with immediately and efficiently. We would recommend them to everyone.

Kettler were prompt at responding and also there was no hesitation when exchanging my product. Two things could be improved - my collection of the old furniture and replacement happened on two separate days which was a bit inconvenient as I work full time and needed to be at home. The replacement furniture did not come assembled and when I bought the furniture someone did come and assemble it. I would have expected the same to happen with the replacement. Overall a good experience though.

We had a problem with rust on 2 chairs , all 4 chairs were replaced within a week of reporting the issue. We were very impressed with the service and have no hesitation in recommending this company for their products as we believe this was a one off.

We bought a Kettler bistro set between 4-5 years ago. After a fairly short time it started to rust, which surprised us as we have 2 other large tables and 10 chairs that have never rusted. I finally got in touch with Kettler, who were brilliant. They exchanged the rusty set with a brand new set, albeit in a different colour, which was actually better for us as it now matches all our other garden furniture. The new stuff arrived one day, and they collected the old the next day. Wonderful service, would highly recommend.

Kettler’s customer service is the best I have ever dealt with. We bought some garden furniture approximately 6 years ago. After 2 years they started to rust table and chair. (On our third set.) Photos sent to customer care, replacement furniture sent and old taken away. Great communication skills, very prompt service. This time it was only the chairs that needed to be replaced. Re: chairs started to rust, table was good. My only complaint would be, the packaging, the box the chairs came in ripped and busted and one of the chairs damaged. They have replaced this, however, also came damaged. Not badly this time. However, I do think they need to look at this and speak with their courier service re: Handling. Use recycling packaging only??

Whilst it was very disappointing that our expensive garden furniture went rusty so quickly, it was all replaced quickly and efficiently, at a time that suited us, with absolutely no quibble.

Metal Garden Furniture bought 5 years and 1 month earlier: 3 chairs starting to show rust underneath. A number of phone calls with delightful staff including a gentleman who said "what kind of Company would we be if we claimed no responsibility as the furniture was 1 month out of guarantee?" Answer I could have given him would have been along the lines of "that's what you expect these days." Well, as I found out that's not Kettler's style and they in fact replaced all 6 chairs and the table at no cost and collected the old furniture.! It was explained that previously furniture had been sprayed but now it was dipped which improved durability of the finish. All the furniture was beautifully wrapped and protected and very high quality but unfortunately one chair had been roughly treated by the deliverers and had a tiny chip on the arm. Kettlers insisted on replacing it and giving me the option to retain it for my use. I believe the service from this Company is quite exceptional and I would have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending their metal garden furniture and customer service to anyone. Well done Kettlers!

Fantastic service! Got in touch about rust on one of our chairs and five days later a new set was delivered! Problem with collection of original patio set. We waited in for courier but didn’t turn up until day after

2 of my garden furniture chairs started to go rusty I contacted Kettler as the chairs were still within the 5year warranty. The response was superb and I had 2 replacement chairs delivered within one week, would not hesitate to purchase Kettler equipment again.

When you spend GBP2800 on "quality" garden furniture from Kettler you expect both quality service and quality product, right? - Poor service - Bent, unusable, over-sized parts - Terrible build quality - Clearly no quality control happening Well, 14 days after ordering (after profuse nagging - we were initially informed it may take 12-14 weeks to deliver when we first called; something we were not told when we purchased it, by which time summer would be long over), the furniture arrived. They dumped it all wrapped up and left (leaving us to deal with enough packaging to fill my car 4 times over), including a heavy duty box the same size as the car itself. POOR service for an expensive brand. After a hour of two of us working at it we finally undid all the packaging and I started putting the table together. Now this literally just required screwing on two table legs and a panel between them for strength. Immediately I see that 5mm thick cast iron flange to attach the one leg to the table top was obviously and horribly bent (completely unusable). Being 5mm cast iron and wrapped in a small warehouse worth of packaging, this could only have been during manufacture, or at least before packaging. It is plainly obvious, so there is clearly no quality control. Further, even if I could attach the leg to the table, the panel between the legs was too long to fit! This is wicker furniture done around solid cast iron frames. Meaning they literally got the frame measurements wrong. Again, why is the quality control? To top it off, the middle legs of the pre-assembled couch are too short. AGAIN, terrible quality and clearly no quality control. This is not a car. Making these frames is about as simple as engineering could possibly get. It truly amazes me how poor this quality was. As an engineer myself, I cannot understand how all of this happened and wasn't picked up. In summary, the wicker itself is great but the service is lousy, the terrible build of the frames it truly unbelievable and there is clearly no quality control going on. Whatever you do, DO NOT let the delivery guys leave until you have checked it all fits together.

Almost on receipt of my email a customer service person rang me personally. He asked me some questions about the furniture, asked for some photos. Explained that he thought the problem would require more than some rust treatment. Once the photos had been received he explained that the chairs would be replaced. He explained how the new ones would be delivered and how the old ones would be collected. Our product was within the 5 years guarantee. All this worked very smoothly. In fact if we hadn't been away the replacement would have taken place even sooner. Excellent service.

Excellent customer service could not have dealt with the problem any better. Five year warranty honoured and no quibbles. The whole issue dealt with and replacements delivered within a week. WELL DONE KETTLER.

The good news is that the application for a table replacement was straightforward and their response was very prompt. The not-so-good aspect is that this is the second replacement I had to apply for, and two chairs also needed to go.

First set of furniture (which had 10 year warranty) started rusting at 3 years and was replaced. Replacement set now rusting at ....3 years. We bought Kettler based on my parents set which is 20 years old with no rusting. It seems that the shift of manufacturing to China has reduced the quality, and Kettler now seem to have reduced the warranty accordingly. Not happy!
