“Kettell responded to my enquiry almost immediately and offered suggestions and alternatives from my original selection to ensure I had the right product. The installation chap was very friendly and professional and took the old door away for disposal and made sure he left the hallway clean and tidy. Kettell were very competitive and their excellent customer service from a local company give them the edge for me.”

“I had a replacement French door fitted in January 2024 and the quality is superb. Over the years I have bought several doors and windows for various properties and the quality never disappoints. 5* service from Kettell Windows & Doors as usual. Excellent service. From the initial order to the job being completed only took a few weeks. The work was carried out within 1 day and the installer was extremely efficient and tidy, with no mess left for me to clear up. Highly recommended”

“With a decorator already booked a last minute decision to replace the back door for my parents. Service from start to finish was top class & whilst only a single upvc door Kettell pulled out the stops to fit within just over a week. Door is a quality product with extra security lock as standard. So impressed we’ve now placed an order for internal Aluspace double doors for ourselves. Highly recommend if you want first class service and a quality product at a sensible price.”

“We are extremely happy with our new windows and front door. The 2 fitters Will & Jack are a credit to your company, they were thorough, friendly, polite, arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and treated our home with respect. I will upload photos once the facias and guttering are completed. We would definitely recommend kettell to others. Thankyou.”

“My third installation (fourth if you count my old property) so I'm familiar with whole process and the materials used. Out of the four this was install that I was best pleased with. I specifically requested that Will be the fitter this time around having observed him working two years ago/2nd visit and he is the main for why we were so happy. Jack, of course was also fantastic and will learn a great deal from Will. I have run two companies since since 2008, employing 30 staff at its peak. I would be proud to have these guys representing my company so please take care of them as the finished article is only as good as the fitter. Getting ahead of the following question, I would certainly recommend Kettell to anyone local I that I know who would be considering having work carried out.”

“After visiting several double glazing showrooms we decided to use Kettell for our installation of porch door and side panel. The service was excellent from being welcomed by Jo at the showroom and then Andy who was so helpful in finding the specification we wanted but couldnt quite get from the competition. The fitters who came to install were superb and nothing was too much trouble, and we were delighted with the finished installation. We would very much recommend Kettells who offered and delivered a quality service and product within a reasonable timescale.”

The thing that stood out was from our initial enquiry to installation was a very friendly and no hassle service and no pressure salesmanship. from Ben, Jo, Lisa , installation team Darren and Jack. “Kettell Windows asked me to take photographs of the dirty bathroom window left by the fitter and I simply asked why they couldn't take my word for it. I then received an extraordinary email accusing me of "air on being threatening and abusive" Followed by "Please be respectful to any Kettell members that call" I did take the pictures they asked for but you couldn't see the dirt on the outside of the window because of the heavily patterened glass. Also, when I mentioned the further complaint that our bathroom floor had been left in a filthy state because they'd failed to cover the floor with a protective cover they blamed the poor young apprentice who was under the supervision of the fitter. I suggested an apology might be appropriate for the inconvenience caused to us but this was refused. If you claim to have high standards. These standards should be maintained when customers have genuine reasons to complain, especially when they've always been polite and respectful in all their conversations. I do not expect to be wrongly accused of abuse when this was totally unfounded and untrue.”

No company likes to receive a bad review, none more so than the team involved in this install who share a very different experience to what has been depicted here. However, all feedback helps us strive to be better, & as a result we have now re-introduced our customer satisfaction sign off sheet at install completion (removed during covid to reduce interactions) so that customers have the opportunity to inspect our works prior to us leaving & document any concerns. We also do take final install images but will now take images of the whole area in which we have worked for reference & to allow inspection post install. We can confirm we returned in a timely manner to clean the suggested dirt on the external of the window & the team have remained professional & courteous throughout. We also plan to share as part of our aftersales service, the full process with recording a service ticket so all parties are aware in advance of the requirements. This allows us to reduce the number of visits & disruption to our customers. If for any reason the evidence is not possible customers can merely inform us of this inability & we will attend as per our normal process.

“New Composite front door and back door. Having read reports of pushy salesmen and poor workmanship from some of the larger national companies, we decided to use a smaller family-run business. We don't regret this decision. From the hospitality and friendly (non-pushy) reception and helpful advice we received on our visit to the showroom, to the completion of the fitting, only 4 weeks later, we are unable to criticise any aspect of the procedure. The fitters were friendly, polite and professional and put a great effort into clearing up at the end of the job. We would recommend Kettell Windows without hesitation. Thank you all for a worry-free purchase.”

“Kettell has been friendly and supportive of giving us both information and space to make decisions. They have been so easy to work with and quick to reply when we have reached out for more information or the extra questions we had. All the staff we worked with came across with energy through enjoying their jobs which helped for the multiple-day installation we had with multiple people coming and going to fit our windows to a very high standard.”
