“Had my hair cut by Nicola and am very pleased! Nicola was great - checking that I was comfortable and happy with how she was cutting it throughout. And she and the other stylists were super friendly too!”

“Love this salon! Always leave after a cut and blow dry feeling good. Great stylists with helpful consultation, great cut and fab finish. I’ve been coming here for nearly 15 years and never been disappointed. Highly recommended!”

“My experience at the salon was extremely positive. I went to bleach and dye my hair from very black Asian hair to a gorgeous pink. The process took 6 hours but I wasn't bored at all; the team were enthusiastic and attentive and the result was gorgeous. The vibes of the salon are really nice and welcoming. Anne and Silva worked on my hair together and did an incredible job. I also told them I had a finnicky, painful piercing in my ear to watch out for while they were working on my hair and they were very mindful of it. Overall a wonderful experience! Highly recommend if you want the best out of your hair.”

“Had a lovely salon experience. Silva gave me a beautiful cut and style and really took time and made me feel like a million dollars. My first time visiting the salon and it won’t be the last! The massage chairs are lovely, and I totally appreciate the drive to be more Green. One minor niggle would be the music- maybe sign in to someone’s Premium Spotify account so customers don’t have to listen to the adverts that play with the non-premium service, as in my opinion it detracts slightly from the ambiance.”

“Amazing haircut at Anne Veck today by new stylist Sylvian. I went in not having much idea what sort of cut I wanted, but after we talked about it, he managed to make my mousy hair with white streaks look cool! I came out feeling both glamorous and positive about my hair, and clutching a sample of special shampoo for it. Thanks Sylvian!”

“I’ve been going to Anne Veck for 2 years now after struggling to find a hairdresser that suited me in Oxford. Sian is amazing, as is Alistair, and I’ve had various different treatments/services from other members of the team and I can say, without a doubt, they’re fantastic. Sian is my main hairdresser and she’s got great ideas and very technical and she’s a good laugh too. Definitely recommend”

“I had Nicola cut my hair last week and I’m sad to say that I wasn’t very happy with my haircut. I said I wanted a Bardot Fringe/curtain fringe when I first came in and she didn’t know what I meant. It’s one of the most iconic hairstyles and very in trend at the moment so the fact she didn’t know what I wanted, even after showing photos immediately made me felt uneasy. We had to get a second opinion after she gave me a feathered fringe which really wasn’t what I was showing her and what I wanted. I left feeling okay but once I got gone I really wasn’t happy. Nicola made me feel stupid and not comfortable throughout the cut and it really has made me think twice about coming to the salon.”
