“I have used Kate and Tom’s now for 4 bookings for important family events at properties that they advertise and have not been disappointed with any of them. The venues have all been excellent and the information about them on the website has been clear, honest and full of helpful detail. Booking has been simple and the members of staff that I have dealt with have all been helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. Matters are dealt with quickly and the tone of e-mails is always polite and friendly which makes dealing with the company pleasant.”

“We were eith our children and grandchildren. We all loved every minute. Precious memories.we couldn't have wished for anything more. Loved the outdoor pool, hot tub and games room. Loved the garden with the trampoline. Loved walking in beautiful surrounding area. Truly wonderful. We definitely want to fo back there.”

“Valley House was a fantastic building and everyone had a great time. We did however have a few concerns that could be easily rectified. There was a problem with flies. Whilst we accept that Zoe had limited control over the matter, we felt she could have done more to alleviate the problem, such as a fly screen at the door, fly papers and deep clean in case the flies were coming from somewhere in the house. The windows and roof in the kitchen area was also full of dead flies which looked unpleasant and was unhygienic. This window also leaked when it rained. The freezer was too small for the number of guests and was totally inadequate. The TV router had broken the day before we arrived and we were told everyday it would be arriving that day, it didn’t arrive until Wednesday and caused a few issues as it was needed for work purposes by a number in the party. No basic TV channels eg BBC1 could be watched all week as the satellite dish was not working. The TV also had a fault in it and broke when the router arrived. Zoe did replace it with a small TV on the Wednesday. The placemats were ill matched and there were only about 8 cardboard drinks coasters from a pub which spoilt the dining experience in the grand dining room. Zoe offered the use of her washing line (which should be a basic essential for a house of 16) however the field where it was was full of dog excrement which smelt unpleasant and made hanging up the washing difficult. The dryer worked inefficiently, even when the filter was cleaned. Whilst there was enough crockery, many of the plates were tired and needed replacing. The surface of most of them was grey with use. In conclusion, the house was poor value for money because the level of comfort and quality of experience was below what you would reasonable expect for over £2000 per week. We would not recommend this property and anticipate your response.”

“The organisation of the holiday went so smoothly any queries dealt with swiftly and efficiently. The staff in the offices, housekeeper, Alison and Roy the maintenance man, were always very friendly and helpful. A great holiday, we will not forget it!!”

“Very efficient from first enquiry, booking then our stay. Appreciated the extra attention, I.e. Costa card for when we travelled. The property was amazing, just as shown. Our family age ranged from 75 to 2, there was something for everyone.”
