We booked Felin Newydd in the Brecons to celebrate Hubby's 60th Birthday and invited 12 members of our Family along. The the house was amazing and had all we could wish for to have a fantastic weekend, the beds were very comfortable and the whole house was beautifully furnished. The delightful chambermaid visited us each morning to keep everything really tip top. Booking with kate & tom was easy and we were sent lots of information to help us plan the perfect weekend. Our catering was done by Beeton for Time and we can thoroughly recommend them.

Holmegate House and the way kate & tom have equipped it had the 'Wow' factor from the moment we crossed the threshold! We tried hard to find something 'missing' but failed!! Top hit, by a long way was the swimming pool - brilliant. We did 'drag' ourselves off site to enjoy Studland, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and of course Wareham, but really appreciated just relaxing 'at home' and enjoying the house and garden. The local team do kate & tom's proud. Thank you.

Peace and rest in beautiful surroundings with little ones totally content every day. Such comfortable beds! One evening meal by Nomad, v good indeed ???????? (though I have to tell you that my 7yr old grandson thought it "delicious but not as good as Gran's roast")

Felt very confident about booking through Kate and Toms especially regarding the attention to detail, prompt service and an enormous amount of information available. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Great house and great location, but some members of the group had trouble finding it in the dark! We were very lucky with the weather and had a BBQ with the little ones playing in a paddling pool. On the down side, the minute freezer could not accommodate are frozen food. However, Zoe did put some in her own freezer but other food had to be kept in cool bags being topped up regularly with ice blocks! The welcome pack consisted of 5 eggs! No sign of the excellent lemon drizzle cake mentioned by previous guests!

Our visit to Lamper Head was fantastic - worth every penny, even if the weather wasn't at its kindest. The house, pool and grounds are wonderful and kept our four grandchildren occupied the whole time. The comments from our visitors amplified our thoughts. Please thank Heather and her team for making us so welcome and presenting the house and gardens in such good condition. Many thanks Tony and Liz Munton

Derwent Manor lived up to all our expectations - lovely bedrooms, spectacular dining room etc. The family enjoyed the fab outdoor space especially as the weather was good. We had a wonderful family reunion.

Fourteen of our family from age three to seventy-five got together for a celebration of my husband's birthday at Marsden Manor and enjoyed the most wonderful weekend in this beautiful place. We all want to go back and are trying to think of an excuse for a celebration next year! We made full use of the croquet, tennis , table tennis, swimming pool, two TV rooms, little ones playroom , Wendy house, and all the games. Bensons delivered a most welcome meal for our first evening, and served a superb buffet lunch on the Sunday. A truly magical weekend!

This was our second visit to the Tythe Barn. We had a lovely time (again). Milborne Wick is an ideal place to unwind and the facilities at the Barn suit our family really well. We have already spoken to Vickie, who manages the property, about what changes we noticed between our first stay last year and our visit this summer.

Arrangements were very good, and location was superb being secluded and so close to the beach. We had plenty of room to enjoy ourselbes. However, we believe there was insufficient attention to detail and maintenance of the properties. Extraction fans in some toilets did not work. Many doors squeak and require the hinges oiling. The front door and the back door into the garden both slam shut meaning that the self-closing mechanisms require adjustment. In addition, there are broken window panes above the back door, and on one occasion, found a sliver of glass (prsumably from the broken panes) on the ground. The oven in the back kitchen does not work properly (took 20 mins to heat to 100degrees). The beach hut, although very convenient, is in a shocking state of disrepairand I believeto be dangerous. The roof needs replacing, but most important, the shutter that comes down - of the 3 hinges holding it up, one is unattached, the middle one is almost unattached meaning that only one end hinge is holding it up, and there is therefore a significnat risk that the whole lot falls down, potentially onto someone, and could cause serious damage or even a fatality if a child. The side socket for the right-sided stay is almost off, and again, if the shutter is supported on the stays (if the doors are closed) then there is a high risk of the shutter falling down. The table tennis bats were in appalling condition. Having said all the above as hopefully being constructive, as a family we are seriously considering staying again next year in July because of the space and location, but please attend to some of the above.

Idyllic situation and a lovely house well-equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed a wonderful week's holiday. One thing that needs sorting out is the rubbish collection situation. The collector is obviously a stickler for the rules and didn't collect anything that wasn't in the wheely-bin. As the bin was full when we arrived the situation was unresolvable. There is also some confusion regarding recycling. We put stuff in the coloured plastic bags provided - but at the shop, when we tried to get more bags we were told that was the Welsh system - and the collections were made by Gloucestershire! It would have been nice if there had been more than one tea towel. The downstairs loo basin has a slight leak from the waste pipe underneath. We confess to one broken dinner plate.

We had a great stag weekend. The service is excellent and the staff are really helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. Awesome fire pit in the garden for getting everyone together. Highly recommended.

This is not a beach house. Kate and Tom falsely advertised that this is a 5 minute walk from the beach when even the owners house information states it is a 10 minute walk and it is in fact a 15 minute walk down a main road. The house is more of a renovated static home that sits down a lane with another place either side cheek by jowl with one garden looking into the white cabin. One can neither see nor hear the sea from the white cabin and it is false and misleading on behalf of kate and tom's to suggest otherwise. Upon arrival there was a half eaten plastic box of chicken and beans sitting in the living room and a half empty cola bottle on the floor. We rang kate and tom to express our shock and displeasure at this state of affairs and misleading advertising and they did not even try and rectify the situation. The garden was not mowed and was unkempt for 6 of the 7 days we were there, and was tended to the day before we left, which was not helpful. The floor of the house is covered in white paint which comes off constantly on adult and children's feet. The rubbish was not collected once during the week even though the bins were left out for collection. Legal advice has been sought, that is how bad the kate and tom's experience is.

We all thought that Hill House was a great place to stay. The outdoor amenities were of a high standard and were much enjoyed by the whole family (ages ranging from two to seventy four!) The grounds were big enough to walk or run around without falling over each other and were very well maintained. All of the rooms were well set up and were well equipped and comfortable. The only negative feature was a lack of tea spoons. Those members of the support/maintenance staff we met were really helpful and supportive - particularly when the water main towards the town burst and we lost our supply while it was being repaired - Alison kept us fully informed throughout. The web site associated with the house does need to be reviewed.....the information given in the gallery did not match that given in the floor plan for the bedrooms which is a significant failing when planning the appropriate allocation of bedrooms . Had we not visited the house prior to making the booking we could have had a problem given that there were three family groups involved. However, the bottom line is that our visit was a great success. Everyone enjoyed the house, the gardens, the amenities and the area. Well done Tom and Kate
