“It was a privilege to spend a few days at Marsden Manor. It is a beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed grand home set in the rolling Costwolds hills. Swimming pool, tennis court, croquet lawn, table tennis, walking trails setting out from the back of the property, a beer brewery a stone's throw away and even a library of kids' DVDs kept us all occupied during our stay. Kate & Tom's made sure our every comfort was catered for without intruding in any way. Marsden is an ideal place to get away from it all as mobile signals are intermittent and WiFi only covers a select few parts of the property.”

“Marsden Manor is fantastic. A truly beautiful house. Plenty of indoor space, amazing gardens and a fabulous pool. Our entire party had a ball of a weekend. Only two items to mention, there really aren't enough serving platters/dishes for such a big house. We were a party of 15 and lack of serving platters/dishes was an issue for a party of our size. Also, there are no parasols for the garden furniture. Apart from that we couldn't find a fault! Diana greeted us on arrival and she was delightful and informative. Thank you once again.”

“The house was just right for our family. It is very much a family house and perhaps rather less "glossy magazine" than portrayed. However that was what we liked about it. We were lucky to meet the owners just before leaving and so learnt more about them and the property. The one negative is that because the house is let through various agencies the paperwork in the house is very confusing and full of inconsistencies. The red folder with all the instructions needs thoroughly revising. For example there are lists of what is and is not provided which vary and did not really match what you told us. None of this mattered much to us as we were well supplied. The instructions for the cooker took a lot of finding (as the AGA was not in use) but were in a drawer rather than the folder. These are minor things and I emphasise that we all loved our stay and were blessed with perfect weather!”

“Fantastic house that was absolutely perfect for the young children we had within our group. Customer service before the stay was very good and far superior to other luxury rental sites that I had tried. Fourth house I have rented through K&T and I will definitely be back!”

“Rigby house is just a perfect venue for a girlie weekend away. The house is gorgeous and has everything you need. Such lovely touches everywhere and the secret field was perfect for our picnic and sports day!! I would recommend Kate & Toms to anyone and all my friends will definitely be booking with you in the future. Thank you!”

“Our overall stay at lambourn house was enjoyable. However, there were some small aspects that we felt could be improved. These included the fact that the handsoap in the all the toilets throughout the house was watered down. Just a small thing but everyone noticed it!! There were only two en suite bathrooms in the entire house and the one in bedroom one did not have a working shower! We were not informed about this prior to our arrival and had to subsequently swap rooms to accommodate others needs. The BBQ outside is brick and not really fir for purpose as there was no grill and the bricks were not level also. We ended up cooking all the BBQ food in the oven!! We were told beforehand that there was a BBQ there but would have to bring our own charcoal, which we did. If we'd have known the state of the brick BBQ we would have bought our own BBQ to lambourn house instead. The only other thing was the amount of signs/rules that are posted around the house. It is palpable that these are in place because there may have been previous issues with stag parties etc but we felt that they were uncessary and set a bad/unrelaxing tone for the weekend. We were on a weekend break and it almost felt like we were being dictated to everytime you went to do something. We counted around 47 signs throughout the house in total. Just overbearing and unecessary. We had a wonderful stay but that was more down to the people than the actual venue. The single beds were poor quality and a number of people complained of bad backs after two nights on the beds. Considering we spent £3000 on two nights, it just didn't feel like £3000 worth of accommodation. We have all stayed in similar places that have been more up market for the same price. I hope this is informative and constructive. Not meant to cause offence but just some honest feedback from the group. Thanks”

“The quality of the property was exceptional and wowed our guests. We had a fantastic time. Hard to think of anything which could have been better. Everything was handled well by the staff of Kate & Tom's and the arrangements went like clockwork. On occasions there were delays in responding to emails. It would be helpful to have clarity about who to address emails to, as different staff picked up at different times, but without a foolproof system of communication between staff. K & Ts are not open on a Saturday which would be more convenient. The properties are expensive but ideal for a special occasion and the high spec justifies the price. I would recommend the company and the property, Riverside Mill, specifically. I would be happy to use this company again and indeed the property. Thank you to all involved in making this 50th birthday celebration remarkable.”

“We had a fantastic week long stay at Holmegate House and Wing in July 2016 as a large group comprising multiple young families and singles. The house is spacious and beautifully presented and perfect for young families, we will be highly recommending it to friends and family.”

“The house fully lived up to our expectations. The handyman who showed us how everything worked was really helpful. The house was very clean and presentable, so well done cleaners. Our family (14 ) ranging from 3-43 availed themselves of all the amenities. The pool especially was a big draw. A truly beautiful place. If we have to make any suggestions, the lack of privacy i.e. no doors between the toilets and the bedrooms caused some problems. All together a very successful stay made perfect by the amazing weather!”

“Kate and Toms have been incredibly helpful to work with. The house we stayed in more than surpassed our expectations. It was clean, neat and beautiful. Set in the middle of the country side. We even had a peacock wandering around. The hot tub was a perfect addition to the weekend. Only thing wrong (and everything else was incredible) is that the table only sat 20 people and not the 26 ppl written on website. Thanks for an amazing weekend away, would go again any day!!”

“As we were celebrating a big birthday with all the family, and grandchildren ranging in ages from 18 to 2 The Lindens was perfect in every respect: space - family room - the trampoline, tennis courts and swimming pool - not to forget the games room. Brett was most helpful and we had an unforgettable week.”
