The main point of opening this app is to send money. And when you do so, the first 2 boxes you click on are veeeery slow to respond. One has to refresh a couple of time before it reacts!

In the early stages before when i started sending money, the flow of transaction was very quick and smooth and the money sent was received or credited quickly, like in a flash. However lately, i had experienced twice that my family members did not get the money right away and it took like 2 weeks before it was received and that proof from the receiving bank are needed to be provided which was not happening before. So, i am just wondering what’s goin’ on now?

We can confirm receipt of your complaint. We apologize that you had to experience this. We appreciate this opportunity to explain what happened to your transaction. We used Bancnet Instapay to process your transaction, which is a system operated by Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas. In a way, that system serves as a bridge for various Philippine banks so your money can be sent faster (can take as fast as a few minutes). Then the feedback, if the transaction is credited or undelivered (e.g. account number provided does not exist, returned by the bank) will be coming from the recipient bank, which in this case would be BPI. However, BPI had system maintenance, maintenance that's supposed to be for disbursement only, but for some reason, it also affects the inward transactions, including the remittances. Factors like this are beyond our control as we heavily rely on the recipient's feedback. We will appreciate your understanding, and we thank you for your continued use of our service for your remittance needs.

My years of experience with Kabayan remit after completing a remittance I usually receive an email and text confirmation. For the past remittance, I have noticed I only text or just an email. Is this something new? or does it depend on the Kabayan staff who took my call? Would prefer both text and email. Thank you

Exchange rate is reasonable. However, it take 3-4 hours to receive the money. Chat support is very slow on responding your concerns.

Good customer service . The only thing i'm not happy with is the official receipt not automatically send to the sender. Instead, a text being sent as proof of the money being sent to the receiver. Receipt is to be sent only upon request. The first company in Uk not sending official receipt if not requested.
