I always encounter problem cash collection at Palawan.The reference number is not in the system even if you go to different places they will tell the samething.It is not a smooth sailing transaction.

Very Expensive. Old fashion. For a £50.00 you charge me £4.99. It’s just absurd. I just haven’t found another remittance app to send money but when I do I will definitely move.

I normally don't have any problem with Kabayan Remit until recently when my transactions were declined and needed supporting documents. It's fine by me if I was emailed about them real time. It was a waste of time and energy. Also, the chat support would take ages before an agent would reply.

Waiting time is long to issue the receipt. Furthermore, the exchange rate is too slow for a change even the exchange rate at the markets is high , so I expect a higher rate to proceed with the transaction. Unlike the Asenso Remit , they keep changing the exchange rate several times a day to reflect the market.

Compared to Asenso Remit that I'm using before they merge to kabayan remit, the transaction is much faster after I paid few minute I will receive the receipt but here on kabayan I have paid already and then they will send me message to remind me about the payment while I've already paid. I have to wait I think 30 minutes before I will receive the receipt.

Staff from viber wont reply,not consistent or not helpfull..Not only in viber,in general not informing customer for any changes or why the money didnt transact,need to call them for verification.

Hi Mel, on the log in page on the mobile app, please click "Forgot Password" then enter your email. You will then receive an email with a link to reset your password. Please follow the instructions on the screen. Once done, you should be able to log in smoothly. If there's anything else we can help with, please send us an email at info@kabayanremit.com. Thank you.

I usually use kabayan remit to send money to Philippines. Transaction was smooth and they attend to queries urgently until recently. Sent money home and it is 48hrs already but there's no progress on the transaction. I tried to contact them through live chat and I was asked about my name, dob, and postal code and after? no reply. Also, sent them an email but no reply. Well, I just hope that this will be sorted out.

However, larger transfers take longer, as sometimes we need to conduct additional checks or banks may take longer to process. I use the app to avoid any conversation with the call handlers as their level of English is generally poor. I understand that most of the time they are dealing with other Filipino customers but they operate out of the UK and English is their second language!

The remittance fee is quite high and varies with the amount sent although the work involved is the same if you send £50 or £1000. When you speak to the customer service dept, all they want to do is say “sorry”. They cut you off if they cannot answer your question or if you dare to ask to speak to a manager. My remittance went ‘missing’ for a week and all they could say is do it again so I sent two remittances. The money was needed urgently to buy air tickets. Altogether an unpleasant experiece speaking to the customer DISservice dept

Got the new mobile app. Registered but says my email add already registered. Tried to log in but cannot. Reset password and tried but failed still invalid password. Please help. Thanks

On the NEW mobile app, click “Login” then click “Forgot password”. 2. Enter the same email address you use with your existing account. Once entered, they will be led to the "Success" page. Here, click “done”. 3. Go to your email and look for an email from Kabayan Remit with the title “Kabayan Remit Reset Password”. If it’s not in your inbox, please make sure to check the spam or junk folder. 4. Click “Recover Password” link on the email. Please make it clear that the link expires in 60 minutes. 5. Once the link is clicked, a new window will open. Enter a new password. 6. Once the new password is accepted, you can go back to the new mobile app and enter their credentials. We hope this helps!
