“I recieved a pair of boots which on arrival were scratched. I sent pictures to Jules b and was told they no longer had them in my size but i coud have a refund. I had hoped they might make more of an effort to find a pair from loakes as i was able to buy another pair within a day for my best man. I replied that i was saddened that they could not help and would probabaly not use them again for loake purchases, i recieved no reply. regards, Aidan.”

Dear Aidan, Thank you for leaving your review. I am sorry to hear your experience with Jules B has not been a positive one. I understand you received some boots from us that were defective, this is not the standard of service we would want our customs to receive and I can only apologise for this. I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with the service you received. It is a longer process to contact our Loake supplier to replace the boots for you. It usually takes around 2-4 weeks for us to receive a replacement directly from the brand. Therefore, since you needed them urgently we issued you a refund in full and you were able to purchase and receive a new pair. Once again, please accept my apologies for this and for the inconvenience this caused you. “Quick delivery, however top was folded in box like it wash straight out the wash. Creased, balled up. Not how you’d expect an new shirt to come really.”

“Quick delivery. Annoyingly, I had to send one item back, which was dealt with quickly but incorrectly. I clearly specified an exchange, but was instead refunded. This is despite me phoning them to confirm exchange rather than refund.”

“Although earrings are gorgeous, they did not arrive on next day delivery or even six days after ordering! Upon contacting the store, I was informed they’d not been dispatched at all. They quickly remedied this and they arrived the next day, in time to be a lovely gift. All thanks to whoever sorted that out!”

“Product and service all great. But no warning of potential customs charges to Ireland. Not acceptable. All other companies sorting this out. I probably won’t be shopping with you again. Don’t like having to pay an unexpected €85 on top.”

“They send quickly, but I think it would be fair to warn customers out of Great Britain that they have to pay taxes. I live in the Netherlands and I had to pay 45 € when the package arrived (to customs/DHL). (on top of the 15 € shipping fee I already payed). I sent them a mail because I wanted to refuse the package, but found out I would have to pay shipping anyway so I left it as it was; they could not do anything for me and told me that by buying it I had agreed with the terms, which of course is true, but if it would have been written more obviously on the site I would never have bought it there. The trousers were on sale there, that's the reason I bought them and not in the Netherlands. Now I payed far more than if I would have bought it here.”

“Since you ask - in all honesty I thought the packaging was a little shoddy. The box especially was tattered and torn, messy label and a tatty piece of sellotape as packaging. Fortunately despite this the belt was ok but It would put me off buying anything from you in the future.”

“Unfortunately, this was a case of 'third time lucky' in dealing with JulesB. The cropped jacket was a replacement item. Prior to that, I had ordered a yellow top for my daughter, which looked very nice but was (in her words) HUGE!. That had also been a replacement item for my first order which had been a blue and white striped, man's shirt. Again, very good quality but much bigger that it's indicated size should have been. This 'saga' cost me an extra £10.40 in return charges and additional postage. I do not know which scale of sizes JulesB use, but it does not appear to be a normal UK one.”

“I had to trim many loose threads with scissors on both scarves down each side, seems to have helped. Other than that Im really pleased. arrived straight away and boxed fine. if I was in the shop I would of most likely put them back due to the threading. But Im very happy. price great, and its what I have been looking for ages. Many thanks Julian.”

“Was supposed to arrive the next day, but the site doesn’t say what is next day over weekend, so arrived after the weekend. Also you get a tracking link which sends you to a blank Royal mail page! If you type the order number it doesn’t work.”

“Lovely item but sadly arrived a few days after ordering despite requesting and paying for next day delivery. These are difficult times for everyone so we all have to give a little bit just to say - double check delivery if needed in a hurry. I will say again - very lovely item. I am pleased with it, thank you”
