“I was uncertain as to whether we should get a mortgage or a bridging loan in order to buy a house before we had sold our existing house. I searched on the internet and came across John Charcol - so glad we did contact them. Initially we were contacted by Patrick Collins who talked through our requirements and explored mortgage options. However, it became clear that we couldn't borrow a sufficient amount based on our income, so he suggested he put us in contact with a Bridging Finance expert in John Charcol - Harry Limburn. Harry was just as professional and evaluated our requirements and suggested two bridging finance companies, one of which has provided the necessary funds to purchase our new home. Once we were in the final stages of the loan process, we were supported by Lily Rechert, who liaised with the finance company and our conveyancing solicitor - holding our hands throughout. Throughout, the experience of using John Charcol and in particular Patrick, Harry and Lily, we were treated with respect (no hard selling), professionally advised and supported and we are delighted with the outcome. I superb company that I highly recommend and would certainly use again if I had a need.”

“After having several hassles with other mortgage brokers, Shaahid and Louise from John Charcol were amazing! The communication from start to finish was brilliant and they managed to get us a great deal considering the interest rates at the moment. They even managed to tweak the interest rate right before completion as it had gone down. After experiencing such disappointment from other brokers we will only be using John Charcol from now on. HIGHLY recommend.”

“We found John Charcol through an internet search and immediately we were very impressed compared to other brokers we had considered. Sarang was very helpful and made sure we understood what was required in order to secure our first home/mortgage. He was so helpful in explaining everything each step of the way, and was always very reassuring. We could always rely on him to answer the phone whenever we needed to speak, and keep us updated with everything that was happening. We were able to put an offer in on a dream property thanks to the speed and efficiency we experienced while working with him. Would thoroughly recommend to friends and family on future purchases.”

“As first time buyers we had no clue what we were doing but thanks to Andrew Ireland we managed to secure our first house/mortgage. We couldn't be happier with his services, he is very efficient in getting the right information to you and from you. Also, Andrew managed to get us a great rate on our mortgage & kept us updated with any changes. “Mark Brazier was able to get us a mortgage for a relatively complicated situation - renting our property in Scotland while we moved overseas for an expat posting in Asia. Our usual mortgage broker couldn’t find a solution for our circumstances so it was good to find Mark who understood our needs.”

“Delighted by the service we received from Shaahid Quinn. We had to do a simultaneous completion of remortgage on one property and at the same time complete an onward purchase. Shaahid helped us navigate through a myriad of issues and acted as a true advisor. Over the years we have mortgaged several times now but Shaahid has trumped it all and left a superstar impression with us. We could not ask for any more and together with Hollie they have both been professional, diligent and a responsive team. We will certainly be using them again when the opportunity arises. “Excellent service from start to finish. From initial consultation, to getting the offer finalised, Mufazzal Choudhury was great at guiding us through the process and taking the lead on sorting everything out. Would highly recommend Mufazzal/Maz and John Charcol as a mortgage broker. Maz was open to questions at most times of the day fitting us in around our busy schedules. He's been continuously diligent, continuing to provide us revised offers and reduced rates as lenders lower their products.”

“We recently used John Charcol for the second time. This time our broker was Mark Brazier, who was brilliant throughout the whole process. He was really down to earth, which made it easy for me to discuss any concerns I had. He went through a few different options and we worked out what would best suit us. Emma Moores helped progress the purchase and was also fantastic, responding quickly to calls / emails and she couldn't do enough to help. I can't thank either of them enough. Would use again in the future without a doubt.”

“There was no flaw in the service. From start to offer the mortgage process was smooth. As a self employed person this is sometimes difficult but Mufazzal Choudhury took the reins and delivered. From my offer on the property being accepted it was a few days until the final mortgage offer was secured. I barely lifted a finger. Maz was efficient, helpful, gave sage advice and reassuring at those times when you have your fingers crossed. He chased the bank and the underwriters and secured a fantastic mortgage deal. Right time, right cost and right now! I misread the documents and initially thought the cost of service was £99. MY MISTAKE. Although, even after I realised the correct price for the service it is still great value! Use this company, ask for Maz - you will not be disappointed. Cannot praise the service enough. A sincere thank you!”
