“Heather McLennan - Partner - "Simply Outstanding Service!" & "Overage Clause Champion!" Growing up in the 80's the phrase "Who you gonna call?" was answered by everyone shouting "Ghostbusters!!!" If someone asked me who you gonna call to sort your problematic mortgage.... i would be shouting "Heather McLennan at John Charcoal!!!" Wow... I simply can't thank Heather at JC enough for her insight, skill, knowledge, time and commitment to the curve ball that I laid in her lap, which was a last minute 'overage clause' that got thrown into our house move literally weeks before exchange. When we thought our house was rapidly disappearing into the ether because we had no chance of finding a mortgage provider weeks before exchange, Heather took the challenge completely in her her stride, calm, reassuring, friendly and with such a commitment to service, updating regularly with pretty well daily progress options and a plan of action that I welcomed her call ! I cannot recommend John Charcoals services highly enough, but if you want a personal recommendation for someone who can deal with those challenging mortgages or property purchases that you think are unattainable, then ask for Heather... because "if anyone can.... she can!" I won't use anyone else now. Thanks Heather you're AMAZING !!!”

“We got to know Reiss through our good friend. We can not thank him enough through our process. He is very knowledgable and explained everything very well. We were able to get our mortgage within couple of months. Also Bilal in the admin department was very supportive.We really appreciate their support throughout this process, it wouldn’t be this easy without you guys. Highly recommend Reiss and the team.”

“Randeep helped us convert our help to buy mortgage to a conventional product at the end of the initial 5 year interest-free period. We would have struggled with this very much without our mortgage advisor, he really smoothed things between our solicitor, the lender, and help to buy.”

“Cannot thank Lisa Gilsenan enough! highly professional, knowledgeable and informative. Being a first time buyer I was initially quite anxious about the whole process, but thanks to Lisa the whole experience has been positive and stress free, always at the other end of the phone and happy to help if I had any questions. “I first had dealings with Molly Wilsden in early 2023.Having used quite afew mortgage brokers over the years I noticed straight away that she was a very exceptional person.She is incredibly efficient,hardworking and friendly. The effort she puts in to get the business done quickly is staggering.Since then I have recommended her to all my friends and family.Without exception they all say she is the best broker bar none.She has now just got me an excellent remortgage and shaved weeks off the process. Unbelievable. So pleased with her and all the John Charcol staff who made it possible.”
