“We have just purchased our first home thanks to the stellar work of John Charcol, specifically Nigel Denmeade and Sandra Walsh. From the moment we put the offer in, Nigel's warm personality gave us reassurance that he would find us the very best deal for our first mortgage. The process was incredibly smooth with his guidance, and he quickly found a lender who was suitable. 3 months down the line when things were getting fraught, and we were given notice on our rented flat with only weeks to go before needing to complete, Sandra stepped in and rang our estate agent and solicitor to chase and we're convinced that had she not been so diligent and organised, we might not have been able to move as quickly as we did. We may have even been out of a home, but Sandra ensured this didn't happen. When you use a broker for a mortgage you expect a good service, but Nigel and Sandra were over and above what we could have expected; the personal touch was what made this process so successful for us. Even down to "happy packing" emails when it was all coming together, Nigel and Sandra gave us a really personal service and we'll never forget how much smoother they made the purchase of our first home. We would recommend them in a heartbeat.”

“John Charcol helped me arrange a mortgage for a second home flat purchase when my usual lender let me down after I had already put in an offer on a flat. I was so relieved to speak Randeep who was positive, calm and very professional, took care to explain things carefully and found a lender for me to secure my purchase. I would highly recommend John Charcoal to anyone needing assistance navigating the mortgage market and securing a lender. I finally completed on my flat purchase last week and am very happy and would not be in this position if not for Randeep helping me secure a lender.”

“On my initial enquiry i was contacted promptly by John Charcol. The adviser was excellent and worked out my requirements for remortgaging. I had failed to get anywhere on my own despite contacting several lenders. The adviser made sure i fully understood the options and after full discussion came up with a great deal which was better than i had anticipated. I was kept fully informed during the whole proceedings and everything was dealt with very promptly and efficiently.The information pack and subsequent communications were understandable and informative.I had a named adviser who i could easily contact. The remortgage has been successful and achieved in good time. I am more than happy with the whole service and feel that the money spent on the broker fees has been very good value and has saved me a lot of time and saved on other mortgage fees and repayments. Special thanks to Louise Cheatle and Matt Gibson who were terrific. I will be recommending John Charcol to anybody who needs help with a mortgage. Many thanks.”

“We did an online enquiry for better mortgage deals. I received an email from a company to say they would contact me to discuss our needs. I received an email the next day from Mark Davies to say he was a representative of John Charcoal in the capacity of a mortgage advisor and he would phone me the next day. He was true to his word and from then all I can say is he was excellent in every respect, his professionalism was second to none we trustees Hom and were very impressed with his honesty. When he said he would do something he did it he was very true to his word! I would definitely recommend your company.”

“Just wanted to provide some feedback and convey my thanks to Randeep and the rest of John Charcol for the excellent service they have provided over the years. Randeep was very knowledgeable, patient and professional in helping me with obtaining a mortgage prior to receiving my indefinite leave to remain in the UK back in 2014, and again helped me with a remortgage recently. He took the time to carefully explore our situation and offered clear advice. “I felt completely supported the whole way through our remortgage process. We do not have the most straightforward situation as my partner is self-employed, but our assigned John Charcol consultant helped us to find a mortgage product that was even better than we thought we could be accepted for. Once the mortgage offer had been made our client relationship manager was there to support the completion of the remortgage and although we had a few hiccups due to our lender, we felt completely supported and knew that someone was available to help at any time. I would definitely consider using John Charcol for our next remortgage knowing how much easier it makes the whole process and that we were able to obtain a product that we did not know was available to us.”
