“The hard cases are those that need persistence and dedication to get them over the line. My mortage broker, Sarah Teff, never gave up on my case, though we had many ups and downs, disappointments and countless obstacles thrown in our path. This is the current way of btl mortgages in a tricky market particularly where your profile doesn’t match what lenders prefer. I would recommend Sarah Teff - she is a fighter and she will take on whoever needs to be persuaded to get you to the finishing line.”

“What I expected to be a simple mortgage turned out to belong drawn out and complicated, without the persistance and hard work from my advisors at John Charcol it might never have happened. Penny Mathers and Fiona Allen remained cheerful and positive throughout and managed to overcome any problems until the mortgage was successfully completed. Thank you.”

“John Charcol was excellent sorting out a good range of mortgages for me, and ensuring that things kept moving through the purchase of our property. However, the insurances associated with this were not in place by the time we exchanged and completed our contracts, and as a result I had to spend considerable time taking out a policy directly with an insurer.”

“I could not fault the level of service I received from the people at John Charcol. Yes, their fee is quite high but, considering how badly let down I had been by a well-known fee-free broker, I consider that it was money well spent. They were efficient, knowledgeable and diligent in what was a slightly unusual mortgage search. More than anything else, though, I commend them for their communication protocols and skills. The process is always stressful and nerve-wracking but knowing exactly where you are at all times is of huge importance. Well done to all...can I mention names?...Sophie and Stephanie, thank you.”

“Thomas Bull at John Charcol navigated me through a very complex mortgage application. He has been outstanding in every regard demonstrating a thoughtful, caring and determined approach to achieving my goals. In today's environment it was especially appreciated that he actually phones you! His patience, professionalism and manner could not be faulted, he has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Cristian Lupu came in during the process as additional support and handled everything both courteously and professionally, they were a great team to work with. I would highly recommend John Charcol for any mortgage needs no matter how complex. Absolutely excellent customer service and advice resulting in a very good mortgage for my needs.”
