Unfortunately, as the earrings were returned to the incorrect address, there was a delay in collecting them by our online team who operate in a different location. We were unable to provide any refunds without inspecting the earrings first. Once collected, we experienced an error on our system, but these have now been refunded, in which you should shortly receive a refund confirmation.
As a very small team, we appreciate your understanding and loyalty, and are working hard behind the scenes to ensure our customers experience the best service as possible.

“The website is very nice and offers a wide range of products, but many of them are really expensive (t-shirts at £40–50). For those living outside the UK, international shipping costs are high, and there's an additional £10–12 customs fee to pay upon delivery. This makes it almost impossible to buy anything!
Regarding the Jane Austen Festival, the ticket sales system was poorly managed. Ticket releases should have been staggered, and there should have been a limit of 2–4 tickets per person per purchase. It seems some people were able to buy many tickets at once, and I couldn’t get access to any of the dances or activities, even though I was online exactly at the start of sales. I really hope more dances will be added during the festival week!”

We are sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with the prices on our website. Unfortunately, customs fees are out of our control and not something that we have a say over. With ever-changing tariff laws, we have seen an increase in international customers having to pay these duty fees to receive their parcels, and have been working closely with our courier partners to find a solution for this. We do subsidise shipping costs as much as possible, always with our customers in mind, in order to provide the best shipping service available.
