“The service I received was excellent and the quality of the goods was also excellent. In my opinion one or two items need some improvement though, they are: 1. The on-line catalogue, Although very informative needs to be revised so that it is easier to use. For instance I wanted to purchase a selection of items for a handrail (The cottage loaf range) but it was a little difficult in that the handrail was located in one section and associated items i.e. up/down ramps etc. in another. there does not appear to be any logic in the layout which causes a lot of time being needed to make up a list of requirements. 2. The registration and payment section is just not user friendly and is confusing. I suggest that it needs revision. Other than that the staff were very helpful when I telephoned for guidance.”

“The primed banister rails etc. are made from really nice quality wood and the smooth finish is just right to take a gloss paint. They arrived within a few days of placing the order so a good job all round. Excellent service! ART”

“We have dealt with staff both at the showroom in person and on the phone, and each time they have been helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and polite. We wanted oak stair parts but thought they would be out of our price range; however we found Jackson Woodturner's own brand to be of excellent quality at a price we could afford. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.”

“the stair part i ordered were all delivered in a fast time which was nice and the were all there which was a bonus, the fixing where a waste of time as you carnt get a 13mm spanner into a 25mm to tighten the nut its just impossible, i wasted a day trying to use those rubbish fixings (would be better if you hadn't provided them to be honest.) bought some zip bolt fixings that worked 1000% easier, None of the part really fit together, i did a lot of blending and sanding, as one part was wider than the next. The base rail infil fits very poorly ( gappy) some of it was too thick. they rounded all the corners over on all the spindles which means that there is now loads of holes around each corner where it goes in base rail not sure what to do with that. their base rail had 41mm groove but the spindles where 42mm, now that just silly i had to sand each one with a belt sander to get them to fit ! i personally won't be using them again”

“Was going to oRder an Axxys oak rail in a box and spindles plus a spare rail for the turn in stairs. I called the office to find out if all the oak wood match. Luckily the woman I spoke to was very knowledgable and helpful, so I altered my order and took her advice. The order was delivered very quickly and everything looks great. Very competitive price. Highly recommended.”

“Very good service, package arrived safely. I would like to point out that if you have ordered end caps on the 54mm mop stick, the instructions say to use a 2mm drill bit to screw in the end screws. We could not get the screws in at all, and didn't want to risk snapping them. We used a 4.5mm drill hole in the end. Which then we were able to screw them in fairly easily and still held in really tightly. Make sure you Hoover out debris from the holes after drilling, also hole size might differ if you have hard or soft wood. So try different sized drill bits as you go. Overall really lovely finish. We used a stained wax by applying with a cloth. Be warned you have to work really quickly as the colour and wax soaks in fast and could lead to uneven coverage of stain.”
