“Fair Isle socks are great - I may order more. Country Socks however are not up to scratch. They are warm, but they are disintegrating after only three brief wearings inside the house, with socks underneath as recommended. Photo attached. I am not happy!”

It's a shame that this has happened to your socks. It may well be down to a thinner batch of yarn on those particular socks so we have just given you a refund. Although wool socks are comfy to wear in your shoes where they are protected by the shoes, it may not be a good idea to use them as slippers as they aren't as tough as so called slipper socks.

“Wonderful experience! I’ll order again. I was looking for quality wool socks for our cold Canadian prairie winters... to give as gifts. The descriptions on the website are helpful. The socks are gorgeous and the recipients were very pleased. Despite being ordered and shipped in December during the online shopping rush, and shipping delays, they arrived in 12 days. Very thankful I discovered this company and thankful for how quickly they got my order to me.”

“The roll neck in cranberry was a gift for my son Stephen (50) in York. He loves it. He’s met two folk in York in the last month wearing ‘Irish Inspiration’ jumpers! Talking pieces! I’ve given Stephen these jumpers over the years. He loves them. So do I.”

“We ordered the roll neck fishermans jumper for our 82 year old Dad. He used to work on boats and was in the merchant navy. The jumper is a winner. Thick and chunky knit, a good size and shape. The neck is not tight like some and it looks perfect on him. He loves it. Thank you.”

“Excellent service. Great communication and fantastic jumper! Bought for my sister for Christmas but very tempted to keep it myself. I think I’ll be ordering another one in the New year for myself. Delivery was troublesome but not the company’s fault - just sheer pressure on the system this year ☹️ But at least the jumper came in time for Christmas.”

“Socks arrived quite quickly, in time for me to post them to my dad. I was impressed with the quality and look of the socks. They aren't as bulky as I'd imagined, which is a good thing, as my father will wear them with normal shoes. I will post again if he can't put his shoes on, or has any problems with them. I've been looking for 100% wool socks which aren't hand knit bulky bedrocks for ages. Let's hope these are right!”
