“Yours is a wonderful company. I’m biased towards the Irish, but justifiably so in your case. I’ve bought two sweaters from you now and am anticipating buying a third. The quality of your product is excellent, and I especially like the fact that each sweater is hand loomed. That personal touch is impressive.”

“I love my sweater that I ordered it came on time and is very comfortable. The best! Though I am disappointed that it came from the middle of England instead of Ireland and I feel like I may have betrayed my Irish heritage.”

Hello Walker It's a shame for you to be unnecessarily disappointed when the sweater was sent to you from the knitters in Donegal, arriving via AnPost, the Irish postal service. We have known the McNelis family, who knit these sweaters for us, for over 25 years and love to put work their way. Whereas we are in the UK, all the sweaters on our website are genuinely made where they are supposed to be made. The Donegal yarns are from Kilcar, just a few miles from the little factory where the sweaters are knitted. Please enjoy your sweater - it really is a labour of love!

“I have ordered a couple of times and each time my goods were dispatched earlier than first stated and received a free gift. I bought the inis bar of soap this time......much better than any I got from the supermarket and smells really good too.”

“The feel of the wool is soft and yet hearty enough for carrying firewood up from the cellar. I like the way flecks of other colors are sprinkled through the yarn. The rolled neck, sleeves and hem make it always comfortable. Our French friend in Beziers says it's a Jane Birkin look. Not sure what that is, but sounds good!”

“This is my second fisherman’s rib turtleneck from Irish Inspiration and Donegal. Got this because I was wearing out the first. It’s been cold in my house this winter, as in past winters. I have nothing else like these sweaters for warmth and comfort.”
