“I attended the APM PMQ course with Ipsofacto 6th-10th February. The course was very intense, with homework in the evenings to practice the example questions for the exam Friday. On arrival, we met with Tim and he was very welcoming and helpful answering initial questions on the course and the format for the week. We then spent the week with Simon Dove to learn the 12 sections/learning outcomes from the APM study guide in more depth and detail. Simon was an excellent trainer, with expert knowledge on all of the 37 topics from the Body of Knowledge. The feedback on practice questions was both helpful and gave a good idea for areas of improvement for the exam itself. This course is not easy, however I think through the Ipsofacto training I have the best possible chance of passing it and would highly recommend Ipsofacto to anyone who, willing to work hard themselves, is looking to progress within a career in Project Management. “Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner. I knew the course was going to be tough but the Pre Course material helped me feel more confident at the start of the course. The Tutor was experienced in using Prince2 and was able to give examples of its use in the 'Real World'. This was, for me, just as important as passing the exams.”

“I attended the project management qualification in December (having already attended the PRINCE2 course in November). Although a challenging subject, I found that the training was engaging because there was adequate time to not only listen but to also give examples and hear examples from other individuals from the class. This aids to help people's understanding or misunderstanding in some cases and help breakdown the subject into easier chunks. It also helps that IPSO FACTO have in my opinion some of the most experienced instructors in the country, meaning that if you just don't get something they bring their personal experience into the story to help your understanding.”

This enables even reticent learners readily to see the potential uses of the software in their own areas of work and thus neutralise the 'fear factor' of working with what can seem to be complex concepts. “The Excel Level 2 course was brilliant. Having not had much experience of using Excel, I wasn't sure how much I'd learn but Tim the course tutor was great and went at a good pace, making sure I understood as we went along. I learnt things I wouldn't have had a clue about before including; Conditional Formatting, Range Names, Pivot Tables, IF Functions, Vlookups and a range of shortcuts to make daily tasks much quicker. I'm looking forward to putting It into practice. Would definitely recommend!”

“Train the Trainer (2 day course) - October 2016 My job is varied and requires all sorts of skills. Part of my role is to recruit, induct and train volunteers as well as to deliver presentations to external partners, and the public, about the project. This is outside of my comfort zone but I wanted to conquer my fears about presenting and become more at ease in the training environment, hence signing up for this course. Finding the venue was easy with parking available on site. From the moment I arrived I felt comfortable. I received a warm but professional welcome. The trainer was excellent and the training material followed a logical pathway, was accessible and thought provoking. I was able to ask lots of questions and the discussions which followed, were not only helpful in terms of training delivery but also had a broader influence on the way that I approach other areas of my work. I came away from the training feeling in control and empowered with lots of ideas on how to improve the way I do things. I highly recommend this course.”
