“I found the course focussed too much around PowerPoint presentations rather than practical work. I would have also found it useful to look more in depth at the law in terms of health and safety at work.”

Thank you so much for leaving feedback, we take all comments on board to improve our course delivery wherever possible. The course material is designed by IOSH and delivered in accordance with their guidelines, we do encourage trainers to include exercises and their own experiences but ultimately the course is delivered to IOSH's standards so delegates can earn their certificate. IOSH recently removed some practical activities from the course syllabus, following on from your feedback we are going to be discussing with our training team opportunities to include more practical work. The IOSH Managing Safely course is the ideal starting point for managers and tries to avoid overwhelming students with legal jargon. If you are looking to go into more depth the NEBOSH National Certificate could be ideal, if you are interested in more information our team would be happy to help.
