“I came into the shop in Edinburgh and I didn’t know how anything worked with ordered new glasses. The sales person talked me through the process and was very helpful. My glasses were then delivered to my home address within a week. I am very happy with the whole service.”

“Came across one of your Edinburgh shops whilst up there recently. Loved the range and quality of your glasses and after a couple of checks by a member of staff as to where my eyes sat behind the frames of my choice I was able to pay for the pair I wanted without having my recent prescription with me. When I got back home to Yorkshire I called my local optician and asked them to email over to me my latest prescription which they kindly did. This I then emailed over to IOLLA who confirmed receipt. The following week I received my new glasses through the post. Absolutely delighted with them and the service I received from IOLLA.”

“Overall a good experience, glasses arrived quickly and staff at Edinburgh store were very helpful in adjusting the fit for me. However I was disappointed that the highest level of thinning wasn’t automatically applied to my lenses. My prescription definitely warranted 1.74 index but I had to send them back as only 1.67 was applied leaving quite a large amount of lens protruding from the frame. I had to ask which index had been used as it never stated on my receipt or delivery note which level of thinning was applied. I’d suggest having a thinning preference option during the ordering process.”

Here at IOLLA we don't think it's fair for some people to pay more for their glasses than others just because they have a higher prescription, so we do offer lens thinning at no extra cost to our customers. Our experienced workshop team chooses the best level of thinning for every individual order based on the prescription, PD and frame choice. We're so sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the finish of your glasses. However, the IOLLA Happiness Guarantee ensures that we'd never see a customer stuck with a pair of glasses they weren't happy with. I can see that we have now reglazed your glasses for you free of charge. “I ordered my glasses at your shop in Edinburgh staff were very helpful, lovely selection of eye wear, went for vari focals which were perfect on arrival. I’ve had many compliments and feel fabulous in them. The price was good too which drew me to you in the first place. Thank you IOLLA I have recommended you many times and will continue to do so.”

“Fab service from start to finish. Replied to an email query so quickly and when my 2 pairs of glasses arrived within a week I popped into the shop for a quick adjustment to make them perfect which was no hassle. The glasses are amazing quality. Would highly recommend!”

“Been using Iolla for many years. Such a good experience from beginning to end. Staff so helpful. Buy varifocals for both glasses and sun glasses. Never had any problems. Glasses always arrive on time. Put them on and off I go.”

“Great experience, great choice of glasses. Nice experience trying loads on and finding the right pair, helpful but not over-helpful staff. Easy process to submit my prescription. Have had a number of lovely comments about my glasses since I got them. Very pleased with my specs!”

“I have had my single vision lenses from Iola for years as their fabulous frames are not available anywhere else! Would love them to be local in West Midlands so I could go in to arrange my varifocals”
