“I think Iolla is an excellent store. I tried the glasses on in-store but bought them online. I was a bit concerned about the online ordering as I had to deal with them several times, online, by email and by phone, but it all worked out fine, and the staff were helpful. Shame you can't order varifocal glasses online though. I'll buy from them again.”

“Well a month after ordering I still don’t have the correct glasses. I have a pair of distance glasses rather than the intermediate pair I asked for , their mistake! And rather than just sending me a new pair they want me to send back the one I have for reglazing. What a bother.”

Hi Roger, thank you for your review. We're so sorry to hear you've been disappointed in your IOLLA experience. I can see the original prescription provided only contained a distance prescription and so our workshop had made these to distance glasses. When you had contacted us regarding this, we then had to contact your opticians to obtain the correct prescription to make the correct lenses for you. These are currently in production and we'll be in touch as soon as they're ready.

“Large range of modern frames to choose from and excellent customer service. I was unhappy with the fit of my previous pair and was offered a refund but didn’t want that so was told I could choose a replacement frame at no extra cost. I did that and also purchased sunglasses and I’m extremely happy with both.”

“The service at the Glasgow store was friendly and relaxed. I’m very happy with the glasses I picked. I’ll probably get another case for them as the one supplied is quite bulky and impractical. I would use again for my next pair. Cheers.”
