“I wanted to highlight the fantastic service I received today in your Iolla store on West George Street, Glasgow. I was helped by Jayne who was friendly and personable. The conversation was easy and natural and she did a great job. It was also really quick! I've honestly always had great service with every visit!”

“Having purchased several sets of glasses,only to find out that the prescription lenses were not correct. I have been stressed and very worried that my eyesight was impaired. At present I am awaiting the correct lens to be made up. (The glasses were left at West George St. on Saturday 10th December )I was assured this would be a rush job.. as of today I have not received call or text. I am wearing another pair of Iolla glasses with impaired vision. I would be obliged if this message is heeded quickly. Also that this is brought to the attention of Stephan. Margaret Nelson.”

Hi Margaret, I'm so sorry to hear about your glasses and that you are disappointed in your IOLLA experience. I can see that the prescription was correct but we are tweaking the pupil centre measurements to improve your distance vision in the varifocals. We do quote a lead time of 6-12 working days, with varifocal lenses taking towards the higher end of the scale, so unfortunately it wouldn't be possible to have them ready in such a short time. Our sincere apologies if this was not made clear at the time. Your lenses are currently on order and marked as a priority, so we will do everything we can to get them to you as quickly as possible. I can see we have already discussed this on the phone throughout the week but we have reached out to you with another update and will continue to keep you informed of the progress.

“I tried on some frames in St James Quarter but ordered them online later as I had forgotten to bring a gift voucher with me. Ordering online was super easy and my specs are great! I've already had a few pairs from them and will have more in the future! Delivery was delayed due to postal strikes but Iolla emailed me to let me know there would be a delay.”

“This was the easiest experience I've ever had buying glasses actually. I bought them when I remembered and then had loads of time to get my new eye test and I submitted it, no one asked any questions or anything through email etc and then they were just delivered. Also really like that anti scratch and anti glare were included in the price, I think its a good indicator of quality.”

“I left Scotland 5 years ago, but I still always get my glasses from Iolla. The quality is fantastic. They don’t need tightening anywhere near as often as Specsavers glasses do. I have a couple of different frames that I know suit me and I just order them in a different colour when I get a new pair. I live in Wales now and I bumped into someone else wearing Iollas. We immediately spotted them and bonded straight away. I’d recommend Iollas to anyone who wears glasses. They’re so much better than the high street brands and the value for money is unparalleled.”

“IOLLA never disappoint! I love my new glasses, although I was reluctant to change from my last ones, they received so many compliments, everywhere I went people stopped to tell me how much they loved them! They are bright yellow and quirky and were my spring/summer glasses - I may order another pair of the same ones just in case IOLLA happen to stop making those particular ones, in the future! My current ones are from the same range, just a different colour. I love IOLLA glasses and will never shop anywhere else, the prices are fantastic, with lense thinning included (I had previously paid, in opticians, £150 for lense thinning on top of the glasses price, which could be In excess of £200) IOLLA glasses are quirky and different, and delivery is super quick. I recommend IOLLA to everyone. Thanks IOLLA!!”
