“Lovely experience choosing my glasses at the Manchester Showroom of IOLLA. The selection of glasses is great and all the staff were genuinely fab, although a special thanks must go to Jaz, who made the whole experience very easy. She was extremely efficient and helpful , smiley and happy 😊 My glasses came very quickly and I’m really pleased with them. I will definitely be returning and recommend them 100%. Thank you 🤩”

“Friendly and informative staff. No pressure to purchase. This is my fourth pair of varifocals from Iolla. Pick your glasses/hand over prescription/quick check to ensure correct fitting etc. Collect or have posted. Excellent service and good prices.”

“IOLLA glasses may seem like good value on the surface but a year after having mine the quality is now showing. I’ve had several pairs of IOLLA glasses in the past and I always vouched for them. This most recent pair has not stood the test of only 380 days of use. The anti-glare coating on the lenses is shocking quality and was terrible at 6 months old. My fault for not contacting IOLLA earlier and seeing if this could be an issue covered under warranty, but now they want more money to “refresh” the lenses. My advice is to go to a reputable glasses provider where they use better quality lenses.”

Hi Stuart, we are so sorry to hear you were unhappy with your IOLLA journey this time around. We’d like to reassure you that we haven’t changed the quality standards of our coatings. I can see that as you reached out more than 1 year after receiving your glasses and there were potential signs of damage in the photographs you sent, so this is outside of the scope of our normal Happiness Guarantee Policies. We would hate to think we’d missed something, or leave you unhappy, so we have emailed you a free returns label so you can send these to us for us to check these in person and see if there is anything we can do.

“Fantastic experience, as expected. Two years ago I went for my first pair of IOLLA glasses. I was blown away by the experience (getting the correct frame, the prices, the quality, and the customer support later when something went wrong), and promised myself that the next time I get glasses, I won't look anywhere else and head to IOLLA. So, when I needed glasses again last month, that's what I did, and haven't been disappointed!”

“My best friend had raved about your store after buying new glasses and sunglasses. I decided to pop in just for a peek and left with a gorgeous pair of tortoiseshell cats eye sunnies. Staff in Glasgow store were so friendly. Already planning a second visit for bright yellow reading glasses xx”

“Pros: Glasses look great. Well built. Material feels nice. Cons: The material is very smooth and the glasses constantly shift and slide off the face. High street opticians do not want to work on the glasses due to their construction being unique. Unfortunately these two cons have made me quite regretful of my purchase. My glasses from iolla just will not stay on, no matter if I am walking or just sitting. The constant adjustments I need to make are causing immense dizziness and nausea. I've asked 4 opticians now if they could assist by tightening the frame but each one has refused to attempt this due to the frames being different to anything they work with. Overall I will need to stop using this pair of glasses as I just can't get through the day without them causing me to feel ill.”
