“I like my new specs and, despite having a strong prescription which can result in bottle tops, the lenses were reasonably thin. I also normally wear top-of-the-range varifocals IOLLA's seem okay. I like the designs on offer but the build of the spectacles feels a bit lightweight. I reserve judgement until I see how long they last. The staff are nice, but somewhat gung-ho about the details of what it is the customer is going to get for lenses. Once again, for my strong prescription, the salesperson patter was over-simplistic with remarks like "we do our best in the factory." I'm sure IOLLA does, but it is not reassuring and feels a little patronising. Details would be much more helpful, I almost didn't buy.”

This is because, these decision are made by our expert workshop technicians after reviewing your prescription, measurements and frame choice. I can see that we have used the thinnest lenses on the market for your lovely new glasses, at no extra cost to you. “Absolutely amazing! What an experience. My previous glasses were very expensive, so when I heard that Iolla could do any prescription for £85, I couldnt believe it. I just had to see if it lived up to the hype. So I popped into the Edinburgh shop with my prescription and was blown away by the experience. The choice, the friendly service and the ease of the process made my day. Ordered glasses on Saturday, by the Tuesday I had an email saying my glasses had been sent out. Received them early the next week. They were perfect! Would certainly recommend them. The ultimate shopping experience.”

“Whilst there is a great selection of frames, what lets Iolla down is that they only offer, glasses and sunglasses separately NO reactolites. I bought frames only because they don’t provide this service.”

At IOLLA, we try to keep our product line as streamlined as possible to help us deliver the best price we can to our customers. I'm afraid that reactolite lenses aren't something that we're asked about very often. However, I'll certainly pass your request onto the relevant teams for future consideration

“First, they make lovely quality glasses for a good price. Secondly, two times now I have lost my glasses and they have rushed getting me a new pair, far faster than their usual lead times. Iolla are definitely my favourite opticians.”

“I've purchased sunglasses from Iolla before, but recently got prescription glasses from the shop for the firs time. My experience in the Edinburgh store was smooth. The staff member (Jay) was very friendly and helpful. They brought me various frames that matched my style description, they gave input on how the frames suited me (which I asked for), and they placed the order swiftly. Overall, my experience was really swift, the glasses didn't take long to arrive in the post, and I'm happy with the quality of the lenses and frames. I feel like I had a very positive experience at Iolla and with such a wide selection of frames, I would recommend it to anyone I know.”

“Popper into shop with my new prescription, staff were very good and attentive. Picked my choice of glasses, was told 2 weeks before I receive them but 10 days later arrived. Never had any issues that I have had to return to shop, they fit perfectly!!”

“I love my new IOLLA glasses which arrived within one week of my visit to the Edinburgh store. Having looked at the online store (on my husbands recommendation) and enjoyed the virtual trying on game when I visited the store with my new prescription it took me just 20 minutes to choose my new frames and go through the order process with the very helpful assistant. Fun & stylish frames, efficient service and great value - well done IOLLA.”

“Amazing experience with Iolla. The customer service is exemplary - they were so helpful and pleasant and made the whole customer experience so enjoyable. Great response times and so willing to help advise, all with a lovely attitude - it’s like talking with friends. The product quality is excellent and the online try on is also fantastic as I am not close to one of the stores. I’m on my second pair and as long as the customer service and price point stay as good as they are now and they keep making lovely designs and colourways I won’t even bother looking elsewhere for my glasses in future.”
