“This is an ambitious itinerary and large crowds at all three stops were negotiated with great skill by both the guide and the driver. I would rate the tour as very good except for the huge crowds and that is not something that International Friends can avoid. Overall, this was an excellent way to spend the day, getting from the port to our hotel in central London, while also visiting 3 of the great British tourist sights.”

“After leaving the Disney Cruise hip we were looking for leisurely trip back to our hotel in London but wanted see some of the historical sites on our trip into the city. The tour was perfect for need to get to our London hotel. Our tour guide provided great information during the trip on the bus and on our stop in Canterbury town and Leeds castle. We were given enough time to walk through the town and the castle. The trip wrapped up with our drop off at our hotel. Our tour guide made sure that we were dropped off steps from the hotel and that we had our luggage which was being carried on a separate luggage van. Recommend for anyone leaving the cruise ship needing transportation to London but want to do some leisurely sightseeing before going to the hotel.”

We understand that the driver collected you at 08.56 on the morning of your tour, 26 minutes after your pick up time, which we wholly appreciate was unacceptable and understand the worry and frustration this could have caused. I understand my colleague has already emailed you with a full explanation as to what occurred on this date with regards to the drivers lateness, and we are currently waiting for you to confirm your card details in order to process a partial refund back to you by way of apology. “Our trip to the Cotswolds andOxford was very enjoyable and informative. Great minibus, and driver, knowledgeable guide. The sites we saw were perfect. Good history as well. Only thing slightly negative was hearing the driver and guide talk “shop” about their job and schedule, etc. It wasn’t over the microphone but we sat up front and it was distracting. Would definitely recommend the trip to anyone.”

“Lovely day at Stratford on Avon, the Cotswolds, and Oxford. Our guide, Kristina, was excellent, very willing to share her knowledge but not overwhelming one with facts and dates and such, and also funny and approachable. Daniel was our driver and he was also quite nice and friendly. Don't be afraid to ask lots of questions, and also keep in mind that International Friends has many tours to pick from, almost all of which are small group tours. Small group tours may cost a little bit more, but the extra little bit is very, very worth it.”

“Tour and guide were great. Enjoyed oxford and Harry Potter studios. The downside of the trip was the bus. The ac was not working even though we were told it was because of the heat in England at the time. This made little sense to me. It made the 2 afternoon legs of the journey quite bothersome.”

“Pick-up at the cruise terminal was easy. We located our guide, and after the rest of our group arrived, we were on our way. We enjoyed Bath and Cotswald. The pub lunch was very hearty. The guide was informative. Some small mishaps led for the good as opposed to the very good; 1. We ended up waiting quite a bit to get into Bath, despite having prepaid for our tickets. 2. The guide got stuck in traffic and was over half hour late to the pick up. While we didn't have his number, it would have been helpful if he had let the office know so that they were aware of what was going on when we called.”

“Great tour from port to Warner Bros Studios (Harry Potter). When We disembarked the ship in Dover we were met with a tour guide and we quickly left our bags under the bus and waited for the rest of guests on the bus. We saw a lot of people waiting in a ridiculously long line for taxis and many long lines for other tours. We were very happy that we chose International Friends. The trip to the Studios took 2,5h with a quick bathroom break and we got some history from our guide. We got 3,5h on our own at the Studios and that was perfect time for us. We saw everything and ate lunch. The trip to London and our hotel was a mess. There had been a bicycle race that morning and the bridges were still closed. Traffic everywhere and our chauffeur got wrong information from the police. We had to travel for over 1,5h more than we ought to have. This was definitely not our driver or guides fault. We would absolutely use International Friends again and I definitely recommend them and this tour for everyone.”

“Our bus driver/guide made the tour so enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable but absolutely so funny with stories and commentary along the way. Personal suggestion would be to spend a bit more time at the small town stops along the way and less time at the palace. Lunch stop was great as well. Tony our guide gets excellent 5 stars! I accompanied Suzanne on the tour and echo her comments. It would have been nice to spend time in one of the towns for strolling and shopping, either by reducing time at the palace and/or bypassing one of the towns. Stow on the Wold would be a good place to spend an hour and a half. Tony, our driver, made the day!”

“Terrific service. I booked way ahead and was informed in a later email that due to a cycling event in London on my day of departure, traffic might clog the streets. That warning allowed me to plan ahead. I ordered my cab early and was taken to the pickup point in plenty of time. Paul came into the lobby with an electric screen with my first name on it. He must have identified me by the bag next to me, and he identified himself. He loaded me into an immaculate SUV, loaded my bag into the back, and we took off. He picked up a family of five and all headed for Southampton. He took the family to the cruise terminal and then as a courtesy dropped me off at my B&B. Needless to say I will use this service on my return to London from Southampton.”
