The renewal experience was a nightmare. The website/ portal is a nightmare to negotiate and log into. The phone experience not much better. Option 2 - renewal's were met with a response "this extension does not exist ". Three phone calls later managed to get through to someone who was helpful & professional. Its a shame that other aspects were so disappointing and unprofessional. Next year will probably seek a more user friendly company.

Tried to buy insurance for our properties in Turkey on a Saturday, phones just continually ringing out the went to 'leave a message' left 5 requests for a call back, did not receive one call! Rang again on Monday, got straight through to new sales!! Purchased the insurance one policy arrived within minutes but the 2nd policy didn't for some reason. Rang again even though I had emailed them asking to call me! Then received 10 emails with the wrong policy, back on the phone and finally I was sent the 2nd policy. I needed Dask insurance which is a different dept, so back on the phone, 4 messages left and still no call back, so I rang again, only to be told they need to email a form grrrr gave up and now purchased via Isbank.

Not happy at all. Still haven't received copy of what I have paid for. Didn't receive any renewal notification or confirmation of payment for renewed policy. Note to self - look elsewhere next year

I have been very happy with the attention given to my requirements by the people dealing with problems on the telephone, but very unhappy that I am not receiving emails from you. I have received this one and I have received one yesterday at 09.52. I have renewed my policy by telephone but have not received confirmation by email. I have down loaded terms from the web. I did not receive a reminder to renew.

Found everyone who I dealt with very helpful. All the documents that I received were very easy to understand. I was very pleased with the premium price too. Would definitely recommend Intasure.

Very poor service - spoke to 3 different people over the phone with a query about holiday cottage insurance and got 3 different answers. One person in particular appeared to only be able to talk from a script. Every question had to be "referred to underwriting", hence I had to keep ringing back with more queries when another email arrived (with more conflicting info). One person assured me that I was currently insured whilst this was happening, another told me that I absolutely wasn't insured. I have no confidence at all in these people. And I'm still waiting for "underwriting" to come back to me with more information!

Go through all the details to renew (for many years) until we get to payment. The property and insurance is in both mine and my wife's name and my wife and I use her debit card and when I said it was my wife's card it all went wrong. You can't take it as my wife is not here. Maybe it is the 'rules' but sometimes common sense applies although not in your case.

Details were taken from me wrongly, to return home to threatening letters when the mistake was not mine and for the massive amount of £12.69 is laughable. Then after various calls to then receive an email of my new bank details with my name on the mail but the wrong spelling on my details is seriously poor. The onus was placed on me like some form of criminal despite being the only one trying to resolve the situation. Had I realised how difficult it would be to get simple house insurance I may have tried elsewhere.

We have insured our home in Cyprus for nine years and have indeed recommended your company to numerous people in Pissouri. We were however disappointed to be told by relatives that their new policy had better benefits such as higher value insured and less excess to pay which actually cost less than our premium. After phoning your office prior to renewal we were told that the excess on our policy of £250 was standard to all policies which I knew was not the case as our relatives had £50 excess. This was changed but feel we have been overcharged in the past as we had no reason to believe that we were not being given a fair renewal each year. Our relatives house is four houses away and infact is three bedrooms where ours is two. Very disappointed.

Terrible service !! Intasure cancelled our business Insurance without notification and then told us 10 days later !!! We were advised there was a problem with our direct debit, and if the direct debit wasn't reinstated then our policy would be cancelled, Our direct debit was reinstated by our bank but our policy was STILL cancelled and we weren't notified until over a week later - meaning we were left entirely vunerable for a whole 10 days !!! On contacting Intasure they were dismissive and we received NO apology,.. just an option to go through another quote !! We are now moving to a reputable company who have a track record in providing excellent customer care when their is an issue !!! Intasure wouldn't even manage this issue by apologising and sorting out the paperwork themselves, they wanted us to come back to them as if we were a new customer and go through a full quote process again - as if they are doing ourselves a favour !! Any company can have a helpful and polite sales team, but the real test of any company - especially one selling Insurance - is in the detail - the way they deal with issues and claims - otherwise you might just be throwing away good money and leaving yourself vunerable !! Our direct debits were affected after our bank froze our account due to a security / fraud concern (they were only trying to protect us) and the bank were seamless at getting all our direct debits reinstated within days. Every other service we had was not affected - yet Intasure decided to terminate our policy without notification With the increase of fraud attacks this year, and the anticipated increase , this could happen to anyone - would you want to be left uninsured until Intasure got around to telling you ?? My advice would be, think very carefully before going with this company, and weigh up the cost of a slightly cheaper quote with the confidence and trust of them actually delivering on their promises and treating customer fairly if any issues arise !

I know you are bound to notify me of the terms of the insurance but it is ridiculous that you expect customers to download so many printed and colourful pages rather than you go to the expense of posting them. Presumably you have an opt out clause if the terms are unacceptable so what it the hurry.

I was really disappointed with the renewal experience. You sent out renewal e-mails 2 months early. In response I called to pay and was told to wait until the due date. Then an e-mail arrived close to the renewal date telling me it was almost overdue and you could not contact me! When I called a very rude women was less than helpful. When you have IT problems don't blame your customers. Not impressed. Paid my renewal but will look around next year before I pay. There is competition out there. Unimpressed.

Your LUCJAN staff member was helpful and patient with me, BUT he could only read out and interpret intersure's rules and regulations. Unfortunately there is not one rule to cover, all eventualities. I am writing this review telling ( intersure ) exactly what happened and what was said, and what was done. Last year, my daughter and family went on holiday to the apartment. When they opened the front door of the apartment, it was in a filthy dirty used condition. It had been occupied by either squatters or an uninvited non paying person or people. My daughter checked the best she could for anything missing, and any really bad damage and she noticed the patio door was not locked and would not slide correctly. She then telephoned me, which at first I thought she was joking. To my horror she was not. My daughter had to contact a cleaner to assist, costing Euros. I then telephoned Intersure, who contacted a loss adjuster, who then came to the apartment. His findings and his diagnosis was to give nothing, claim dismissed. BUT as the patio door was slightly open, there had NOT been a forced entry, so that ticked his box. So he decided the patio doors should have a top and bottom bolt after 20/30 years. This was in case an intruder like Spider Man got himself onto my patio and found the patio doors locked, he would be annoyed, so he would get his hammer out and smash the glass, so he could walk into the apartment. The loss adjuster then may have been in a bad mood decided, as nothing of importance was found to be missing, to increase the excess from £250 to £1000.00,s Maybe the Spider man thief, new a £1000 excess applied, so he limited the contents he stole to £999's knowing I was unable to claim, so he could think no one would be interested to catch him. I was given a total to pay. But when I agreed to pay I was asked for approx £6/7 more, I asked the reason, and was told this was the cost to pay. As an example I suggested next time I go into a shop I ask the price of a tin of beans get quoted £5 I produce a £5 note but shopkeeper wants £5.10 As an average person what I require when I insure anything is peace of mind, and what I have insured is the same at the beginning as at the end, But If it is NOT the same I expect the insurance company to come to my rescue and not have a guessing game of if's and but's.It should give you confidence to insure, not a problem. When I read the intersure's Sales literature and their coverage, as the saying goes ( To good to be true) it generally is. ie; Buildings £1 Million Public Liability £5 million I did not dare NOT TO INSURE, as it is POSSIBLE for the apartment to be blown up, or a volcano to erupt , or struck by lightening or anything else as dramatic. I checked my options, either to insure or play the lottery. It was a difficult decision. Here endith my surman, honest but as I feel as a logical person. Happy reading Brian Balbach

After having being chased up ( several times ) over the phone by a sales person who inquiered wether we were renewing our policy we told that person that we were happy to renew. We also told him that the money transfer would take a couple of days longer as it was an international transfer. He was happy with that. A couple of days later another person called for the same thing who was told the same thing. A day later somebody else called again about the same thing and told us that the policy would elapse and that we would not be covered. In the mean time two e-mails arrived with the same subject to which we replied the same thing but never got an acknowledgment. Then a 4th person called about the same thing so I paid directly through my credit card hoping that by this time my money transfer had gone through. I do not appreciate this sort of aggressivness and inefficiency !
