definitely not recommend the company delivery failed two times as was promised . also have to pay 10 for the delivery which was late 2 week. Not happy at all

I ordered 36 sheets of insulation on-line, your site said 3 - 5 working days, this was ordered on the 8th of January and didn't receive it until the 21st January, I had to call customer services about 6 times, and was promised a call back each time, that never happened. At one point delivery was promised on the 17th, and did not turn up. This cost me time and money waiting, as I had men on site waiting. I will never use them again, and all should avoid them.

We strive to deliver all orders within our estimated time frame, but, occasionally some orders can take longer than anticipated due to transport factors and other issues that may be outside our control. We have reviewed the call logs and can see that you did indeed call several times to which we either called or emailed back with updates regarding your delivery. We acknowledge that this may have been slower than our normal standards of communication, our apologies for this. We cannot however find any detail on a notification advising delivery would be on the 17th but rather the 21st. Again, please accept our apologies on delivery being outside of our estimated time frame and for the delay in updates.

Our delivery timeframes are estimated and we are sorry that your order was delivered outside of this by one working day. While the majority of orders are delivered within these times, we cannot make a guarantee on this due to possible transport issues outside of our control. In regards to the damage you have mentioned, we have no record of you reporting this to us and our Customer Service Manager has contacted you directly for further details but we have not received a response. If goods arrive damaged, we have a robust system in place to ensure items are replaced as quickly as possible. However, if we are not made aware of damages, we cannot provide any assistance.

placed an order for a customer of mine - he had ordered wrong goods and for the past 4wks ive tried to obtain a returns note and keep getting no reply from their returns department

Despite having order a few times from this company, they have canceled one of our orders £188 order, as we are short, they have cancelled it because it's under £200! making the rest of the sound proof a waste of money

A company worth avoiding! The day before my order was due for delivery, received a text message, email, and phone call all within a minute of one another; the caller claimed they couldn't get the Celotex insulation I ordered, but they could substitute another of similar performance - I had to make a decision urgently otherwise it wouldn't go out on time. I didn't order Celotex, but I had ordered Mannok. I specifically asked about the fire performance of E, to which the caller confirmed it was the same. I refused to give an immediate answer, and insisted on reading the data sheet of the substitute product first (which they had sent in the email). Within less than a minute, I noted the fire class was worse than what I ordered, so I tried to call back. There are no direct dial numbers for people, so I spoke to a generic person who spoke privately to the previous caller - and then reported she had already spoken to me. I had to insist on either speaking directly or they could cancel the order. Five minutes later I had a call back from the original caller, and received a slightly patronising and entirely unconvincing story about how they are sort of the same and one is hard to get further north. Needless to say, order cancelled.

Hi Derek, we are sorry to hear about the issues you have encountered with your order. Unfortunately, as advised by our sales representative, occasionally some brands are not available in certain areas and we offer alternatives that are identical or almost identical. We send the datasheets so you can make an informed choice as to if you wish to proceed with the swap or not. In this case, as you mention, the rating was not what you required and therefore you cancelled the order. Please be aware that any material we recommend as an alternative will achieve the same Uvalue as what was originally ordered.

You totally ripped me off with the screws charging me nearly £10 to deliver them. Why didn’t you let me know? You were gonna charge me? Disgusting service I’ll never use you again.

Appalling, I am a builder and ordered from this outfit because they had a competitive price - Big order. No response from them for 14day days! I tried calling emailing, messaging. Then a full week AFTER the product should have been delivered (two weeks from original order) they finally get in touch saying they cant fulfil the order - but they still have my money and I am waiting for the refund - honestly avoid like a plague or you'll catch a proper case of the bargain burns with these charlatans.

The moisture plasterboard was delivered damaged, placed on bottom of delivery so moisture membrane scraped and compromised. Replacement order was sent but this was also damaged, cracked down the middle. Which must have been obvious when loaded. Still awaiting another delivery replacement. I do not always get notifications of delivery so have to juggle being in to receive. Shame as good value price wise (5 stars) but have to give one star for poor state of delivery. Other plasterboard was also damaged on edges during loading on delivery vehicle. I don’t d not report on receipt and I4less will not replace.

Thank you for your review and feedback. We are genuinely sorry that you received a damaged moisture panel and that the replacement was also damaged, this is not a common occurrence and we appreciate the inconvenience this has caused. After the replacement was delivered you advised us you wished to have the board refunded, you then emailed us two days ago to advise you would prefer the board be replaced. We have now organised this replacement for you. Regarding the other plasterboard, you did not advise us of any issue with these boards at the time until over a week after delivery. We have sent you a number of photographs taken by the driver showing the boards delivered to your address with no apparent damage and a POD signed by you that noted the damaged moisture board only. As stated in our terms of delivery, all irregularities and damages must be noted on delivery paperwork immediately on arrival or, via email to deliveries@insulation4less.co.uk within 24 hours. We hope this clarifies the matter for you.

Worst company ever, you order online, you have to put the details of your delivery but it never makes it to the drivers, we had 3 deliveries in total, because they made mistakes twice. All 3 deliveries were initially sent to a town 30min away. We specified a smaller delivery truck for our site, a 27ton came first, had to send back. Then panels arrived damaged and were in the middle of the pile, no way they didn't know this when putting order together. Also order was short. Overall terrible experience.

Thank you for review and feedback. We are sorry that there have been issues with your delivery, we can advise that all the information regarding access issues that you gave us was passed to our supplier who send their apologies for the error in sending the wrong vehicle in the first instance. By way of apology on this, we provided a partial discount. In regards to the damaged panel that you received, you informed us of this on the 3rd of April of this and our supplier delivered a new panel the following day, 4th of April.

Insulation4less supplied me with substandard Celotex boards. They had edges which curve inwards - are concave - meaning I have to cut them down in order to get them snug to each other. Its a lot more labour and I lose some board. I pointed this out to them and sent photographic evidence, and still have some of the boards, but they are not interested. Therefore if you want good quality boards and good customer service, go to a different company.

Thank you for your review however we must disagree with what you have said on this occasion. We delivered your order on 29th January, we have sent you the photograph taken by the driver on the day of delivery with the boards wrapped in good condition. You did not report any issue to us until almost a month later on 26th February. You then advised us that you had used some of the boards but you were not happy with the remaining boards and would like them replaced. As stated in our terms of delivery, all irregularities must be noted on delivery paperwork immediately on arrival or, via email to deliveries@insulation4less.co.uk within 24 hours.

It's not possible to give 0 stars apparently... Build4Less took my money, delayed my delivery by 9 days. Then knowingly delivered me the wrong product, 2.4m long OSB T&G 18mm loft boards instead of 1.2m and then said the depot don't have the correct product at all and never did. Cost me half a day's wages trying to resolve on a Friday afternoon. I asked for someone to call me. After ringing many times and still only receive emails. This is the following week and still no answer about my original purchase which is still for sale on their website. Really disappointed with my experience and would not purchase from Build4Less again. Really hope for everyone else's sake this is a one off, but from the way I've been treated I don't think so.

We apologies for the delay in delivery, this material generally takes approximately 5 to 7 working days to site and we acknowledge this took somewhat longer than our standard timeframe. In regards to the the incorrect size of boards being delivered, we sincerely apologies for this error, however, we can assure you that we did not knowingly do this, it was a genuine error on the part of our supplier. The collection of the incorrect boards has been arranged for today and a full refund will be issued once returned to the depot. Our Customer Service Manager has now also been in touch with you directly.

3rd order placed, order 1 & 2 were fine order 3 cannot get a delivery date, so cannot plan workforce.

We do state on our order confirmations that delivery dates given are not guarantees and on rare occasions delays can occur which are out of our control. I paid £50 for delivery- however, the items were never delivered as the driver could not find our property-but was told the driver was at the property- but could not find it ???? and was subsequently told I would have to pay another £50 if I wanted them to attempt delivery again !! Would definitely not use again !! I cancelled my order! Minus, the non- delivery fee (£50)

Hi Julie, This review is unfair and not a true reflection of actual events. We attempted to deliver this order on the delivery date provided to you. You were notified by email and text on 26/07 that delivery would be on 31/07 and we even arranged delivery on a smaller vehicle as requested by yourself. On the day of delivery, both our customer care team and the driver called you several times to ask for directions but you did not answer your phone. Unfortunately drivers only have a limited period of time that they can wait around as they will have other deliveries to attend and must eventually move on. We gave you ample opportunity to come to a resolution but you requested a refund and as a result, we were left with no choice but to deduct the cost of the failed delivery from your refund. We do not make anything on failed deliveries and will only ever pass along the exact cost of a failed delivery. I mistakenly ordered the wrong type of superfoil----my fault, but when I asked about returning it, I was informed that there would be a 40% restocking charge, plus the cost of the postage plus the cost of returning it to the warehouse. Based on that, I would never order from them again

You have received what you ordered and as you have stated yourself, it was your mistake ordering the incorrect material. Most insulation products are bulky and transportation costs are significant resulting in costs to return materials which we can't always absorb. Waste of time, took a week to get it and then it came from a local supplier who I could have gone to myself. They just get a discount from a major supplier and take a profit. Wouldn’t use again

Hi Ross, Thank you for your review. We are a broker and a stockist and negotiate the best rates possible from all our suppliers while also delivering from our own depots in London and Manchester. This is no different than your local supplier who also negotiates rates from their suppliers to sell to their customers. They deliver from their stocks and sometimes ship direct from their suppliers to their customers. Just like us. You placed your order on a Tuesday and was delivered 4 business days later not 1 week. We state online that the product you ordered is typically delivered in 3 to 5 working days. We delivered your order within that time frame. Its more than likely that you would have paid more for your order if you went locally and would have had to wait a similar timeframe to have it delivered. Regards Insulation4less
