“A company worth avoiding! The day before my order was due for delivery, received a text message, email, and phone call all within a minute of one another; the caller claimed they couldn't get the Celotex insulation I ordered, but they could substitute another of similar performance - I had to make a decision urgently otherwise it wouldn't go out on time. I didn't order Celotex, but I had ordered Mannok. I specifically asked about the fire performance of E, to which the caller confirmed it was the same. I refused to give an immediate answer, and insisted on reading the data sheet of the substitute product first (which they had sent in the email). Within less than a minute, I noted the fire class was worse than what I ordered, so I tried to call back. There are no direct dial numbers for people, so I spoke to a generic person who spoke privately to the previous caller - and then reported she had already spoken to me. I had to insist on either speaking directly or they could cancel the order. Five minutes later I had a call back from the original caller, and received a slightly patronising and entirely unconvincing story about how they are sort of the same and one is hard to get further north. Needless to say, order cancelled.”

Hi Derek, we are sorry to hear about the issues you have encountered with your order. Unfortunately, as advised by our sales representative, occasionally some brands are not available in certain areas and we offer alternatives that are identical or almost identical. We send the datasheets so you can make an informed choice as to if you wish to proceed with the swap or not. In this case, as you mention, the rating was not what you required and therefore you cancelled the order. Please be aware that any material we recommend as an alternative will achieve the same Uvalue as what was originally ordered.

“Generally very pleased with this company, PIR boards are good quality and definitely the cheapest and way cheaper than my local builders merchants which makes no sense to me. This is my 3rd purchase from them. My 2 gripes were a) the website wouldn't accept my purchase order on 6 seperate occasions so I rang them and was told I couldn't order over the phone either, fortunately I was subsequently able to order fine later in the day and b) this time was I was told by email they would be arriving between Mon and Wed the following week and they actually turned up on my doorstep the Friday before when fortunately I was in to accept them, they need to be better at that. Overall,price wins & I'd buy from again and recommend them”

“Placed orderd july 29th still haven't had a confirmed delivery date spoke to an agent who said there's no knowledge of my order, spoke on the phone to be told ill get back to, can't comment on the product as I haven't even received a delivery date even.”
