“We have been with Independent Cottages for just over a year and are really pleased with Sarah and the team. We have received a friendly and professional service from day one. We were looking for an independent - book direct platform to advertise our cottages after the company we were with sold out to one of the 'big boys' and started charging our guests a service charge among other things. Now with Independent Cottages our guests pay what they see, no hidden / booking charges. The website is easy to use for owner and guests alike plus Sarah and the team are very proactive. We have happily renewed for another year!”

“Sarah and the team at Independent Cottages provide excellent service and generate a good level of bookings for our cottage We have used Independent Cottages for many years and have always had a good and relevant response from potential guests. . The website is guest and owner friendly and easy to update and we frequently use the last minute offers sections at it works really well for us. We like the fact that we have complete control over our bookings and that there is a link to our own website. We highly recommend Independent Cottages. We also advertise on the commission per booking sites and I find they do not generate the same level of interest.”

“Unlike other companies Independent Cottages offers genuine personal service to its clients. As a cottage owner l am able to speak directly to the team for any help needed. Emails are responded to very quickly and professionally. Again unlike other companies extortionate commissions or "booking fees" do not exist allowing me to deal directly with my guests. The website is great for owners and customers to navigate and offers real flexibility. Thank you Independent Cottages for genuinely caring about small businesses and offering such a great service. “We are really happy to work with Independent Cottages as a company they are easy to get hold of and clear. The web portal for owners is easy to use and has lots of great features. We get a lot of people booking having seen our properties on Independent Cottages and the number of enquiries for the annual fee is really good value, in January for example we had 12 enquiries.”

“We have been advertising our cottages at Bottoms Farm for around 10 years with Independent cottages and they have now become the only company we advertise with! I find that the late booking facility on their website ensures that our cottages are usually occupied even if we have an extremely late cancellation. Sarah is always very efficient and helpful and their prices are very competitive and not based on a pay per booking basis unlike most other advertising agencies in todays market.”

“We have been with Independent Cottages since we first started our holiday let in 2012. All our bookings have come through this site and we have been very pleased with the volume. As a result we felt that we didn't even need our own website as our guests have said that they were able to get enough information from the Independent Cottages site and liked the direct contact to the cottage owner. We have found the site clear and easy for us to use and any queries and updates have been dealt with speedily. Wishing Independent Cottages continued success.”

“This is our 9th year using the services of www.independentcottages.co.uk I find Sarah extremely professional, quick to reply and at the same time personable. The website is easy for me to use and update. I like the fact the booking system we use automatically updates on www.independentcottages.co.uk I don’t like or use companies that take a percentage of our booking fees and therefore I find this method perfect for my holiday house business. “We have been advertising both our holiday properties with Independent Cottages for just over a year after recommendations from friends. Our personal experience has been fantastic and in our opinion certainly match the ‘big boys’ in terms of firm bookings. Many guests do not realise their booking incorporate booking fees, which frustrates us considerable, and with Independent Cottages there is none of this. Their listing fees are extremely fair and I would not hesitate in either listing any future rentals with them or indeed looking for holiday accommodation myself.”
