“We have used Independent Cottages for many years to advertise our holiday cottages (Cherry Bank Cottages) and always found the service to be excellent and we attract many guests via the website. We find the Late Availability facility to be very successful in selling holidays at short notice.”

“We have been with Independent Cottages for several years and have received plenty of happy guests over that time - many of them regularly returning. Sarah has always sorted out any advertising adjustments with great professionalism. Also the various pieces of advice given on how to present the property have proved to be very useful over the years. The site is easy to use and has been designed so that owners can use as much or as little as they require. We are taking a break from leasing our holiday Annex while family are returning home from abroad but we will be back and we will certainly use the site to find a perfect holiday home for ourselves. “When it comes to holiday cottage agencies, Independent Cottages stand out from the rest with their personal involvement with, and commitment to, their owners and guests. Unlike many other companies who suggest they offer the same services, Sarah and Steve communicate with us personally with no other parties involved. Any queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently and enquiries from guests come to us directly with no delay and no fuss. Other agencies tend to change their terms and conditions, as well as the goal posts in order to extract more money from both owner and guest. These agencies really should take a leaf out of Independent Cottages book. Independent Cottages offer value for money and a truly personal service. “As a small business offering one self catering cottage in the New Forest National Park we have been advertising with Independent Cottages for four years. We have always had exceptional service from Sarah Jarvis and she always has our best interest at heart. We find the Independent Cottages web site very reliable unlike some others which go down frequently. The operation of the website is really simple for the advertiser and we get lots of enquiries indicating that market penetration and ease of use for potential guests looking for a cottage must be fairly straightforward too. Search engine rankings seem to be good and a lot goes on behind the scenes to ensure that this continues. In these times of scammers and con men trying to make money out of innocent accommodation owners we can rely on Sarah to inform us of any dodgy would-be guests who enquire through her system. As members of the New Forest Tourism Association we meet with many similar accommodation owners and many of them use Independent Cottages and without exception they all say good things about the service they receive. The administration of invoices etc by Sarah is always smooth and efficient and the owners' section of the website has a convenient list showing all past invoice details. To sum up we would happily recommend Independent Cottages to any cottage owner.”

“We have been with Independent Cottages for eight years now, ever since we first started letting our cottage. From day one we have received excellent support and advice, ranging from setting up our page on the site, pricing, insurance, organising an environmental survey, advice about the pros and cons of offering broadband and various other aspects of letting the cottage. It is a huge advantage being able to have changes to our advertisement implemented immediately - usually the same day. Sarah Jarvis is always just an email away, ready with every sort of help. There is also a very helpful section on the website giving owners warnings about scams and problems other owners may have encountered + information about new regulations etc. I cannot speak too highly of the service we receive from Independent Cottages - absolutely first class!”
