“I have advertised my both holiday cottages with Independent Cottages now for 3 years. Outstanding service and for a very reasonable price. The website is very easy to navigate unlike others. I would say 80% of my bookings come from Independent Cottages. They also advertise and last minute offers you have in social media, including Facebook and Twitter. “We have been cottage owners for over 10 years and become increasingly disenchanted with our large booking company. We started advertising with Independent Cottages last year alongside our old agent and have been hugely impressed by the ease of the set up and the communications from them. We have now maximised our income thanks to them and are using as many weeks as possible for customers booking through them. There is no commission fee and the flat rate charges make it a very attractive package. “As an owner I am delighted that Independent Cottages does such a great job of putting genuine holidaymakers directly in touch with vetted owners. With the market becoming more monopolised by very large, commission-based operators, guests pay more than they need to and owners lose a valuable relationship with their customers and control over the process - including when they will get paid. Independent Cottages did a splendid job for us of providing good quality bookings last year and we fully expect this year to be the same, if not better.”

“Any communication is always friendly and courteous. No fuss bookings, as guests can contact me directly, and don't get charged. So no cancellation fees, or pushyness, as I had with Tripadvisor, before I stopped booking through them. Fairly easy to manage website, but up to me to keep it updated. Always quick responses. I am very happy to recommend!!!”

“We have advertised with Independent Cottages for many years, and are very happy with the service provided. Our advert always runs smoothly, its easy to make any changes we need to, and response to queries is always prompt. The site is easy to use for owners, and making amendments/ updates is quick and straight-forward. They have a definite advantage over other sites in that there is only a one off annual fee with no additional charges (service fees etc) as some other providers charge, which makes pricing simple and transparent for those making enquiries. We would definitely recommend Independent Cottages to other owners renting holiday properties”
