“We have used Independent Cottages for 10 years for the advertising of our holiday properties. We have always received efficient, polite and timely service from Sarah and her team and will continue to use them going forward. It is rare these days to find an online hoiday let business that still delivers personal service. Thank you Sarah & team.”

“Ashdene holiday cottage. Always found a consistent flow of traffic from Independent Cottages and considering they are competing with the big boys they are professional, polite and helpful. The pricing is extremely competitive, one slight niggle I wish they had a section for cottages with exclusive Indoor Swimming pools and Hot Tub's they are the most popular but sadly you need to scroll to the bottom of the main page or navigate through pages to get to this.”

“Without hesitation, I rate Independent Cottages 'very good'. In fact I would rate them excellent if that category was available. I was introduced to them last year and after doing some initial research decided to go ahead with advertising our holiday cottage. I loved the layout of the website and found Sarah to be friendly, efficient and professional. We have had more enquiries than I ever imagined we would and from these a healthy number of bookings have been confirmed. Unlike many other booking sites, there is just a one off fee and no commission charges, so in my view provides excellent value for money. So much so, i have just renewed again for a further year. I would recommend Sarah and Independent Cottages to anyone thinking of renting out their holiday home. A big thank you Sarah from Alan & James at Chauffeur's Cottage.”

“Sarah has been most helpful with the bookings for Tan-y-Bryn and we have had several inquiries through Independent cottages. Paying the yearly subscription is better for us and our customers who can see the cost for the holiday without extras. I also like to have control of the booking for our cottage.”

“Our Property in Dorset has been advertised on Independent Cottages for approximately ten years. Just recently our Cottage was rented for six weeks off season by a couple visiting their daughter in Christchurch. One advantage of Independent Cottages are that the guests do NOT have to pay a 10% admin fee to Independent Cottages. Another advantage of Independent Cottages is that they allow guests to pay the owner direct. HomeAway, a major player is the market, charges guests 10% admin in addition to the rental and keep the rent that they collect until the guests have been at the property for a week. It is then paid over less a commission to reflect the credit card charges they incur. We therefore much prefer bookings through Independent Cottages, as do our guests if they discover this great website.”
